When the height of side pier is high, it is difficult, dangerous and uneconomical to cast-in-place construction with ordinary support, and the elastic deformation of support is too large to guarantee the concrete pouring quality of side span cast-in-place section. The steel pipe column method also has some construction problems such as difficult foundation treatment and difficult mechanical installation. After repeated discussion, this problem can be solved by using the cantilever support of the erected beam section of the approach bridge for construction.
