In this study,the dynamic characteristics of microscale floating bubbles near the vertical wall are studied.This occurrence is common in industrial and natural phenomena.Although many studies have been conducted on mi...In this study,the dynamic characteristics of microscale floating bubbles near the vertical wall are studied.This occurrence is common in industrial and natural phenomena.Although many studies have been conducted on microscale bubbles,few studies investigate floating bubbles with very small Reynolds number(Re)near the wall,which is the main research goal of this study.Therefore,this study establishes a model for the ascent of small-scale bubbles near a vertical wall using the interFoam solver in OpenFOAM.This study investigates the influences of diverse viscosity parameters,varying distances from the wall,and different gas flow rates on the terminal velocity,deformation,and motion trajectory of bubbles.The results reveal that as liquid viscosity increases,the Re of bubbles gradually decreases and reaches a minimum of 0.012,which is similar to the Re of micrometer-sized bubbles in water.The characteristics of the wall-induced force in the longitudinal direction are closely related to the changes in liquid viscosity.Under low-viscosity conditions,the induced lift is the principal form of action,whereas under high-viscosity conditions,it is primarily manifested as induced drag.展开更多
High-finesse optical reference cavities are essential tools for fundamental research.In response to China’s historical reliance on importing high-finesse optical reference cavities,we successfully developed a cavity ...High-finesse optical reference cavities are essential tools for fundamental research.In response to China’s historical reliance on importing high-finesse optical reference cavities,we successfully developed a cavity using ultralow expansion glass(ULE)materials and processed it entirely in China.Using the method of measuring the cavity linewidth,a finesse of approximately 480000 was obtained in our experiments.We adopted a relatively simple and effective approach to test the optical reference cavity,which involved measuring the resonant points using an ultrastable laser.Remarkably,an expansion coefficient of the Chinese ULE optical reference cavity reached up to the order of 10^(-9)/K within the temperature range of 27℃to 40℃,with the zero expansion point occurring at approximately 34oC.These findings demonstrate China’s independent capability to develop high-finesse optical reference cavities,which is a significant advancement in precision optics.展开更多
Tunnel face ground loss(TFGL)emerging in shield tunnelling can trigger ground movement and impose threats to surrounding structures.However,the impact of cutterhead vibration on TFGL in sandy soils with varying degree...Tunnel face ground loss(TFGL)emerging in shield tunnelling can trigger ground movement and impose threats to surrounding structures.However,the impact of cutterhead vibration on TFGL in sandy soils with varying degrees of saturation has been largely unexplored.To fill this gap,an innovative numerical model based on computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)and adhesive rolling resistance linear contact algorithm is established for the simulation of TFGL.Meanwhile,algorithms are proposed to account for the effects of cutterhead vibration and support pressure.Results from the validated model reveal that the TFGL can be exacerbated by seepage and opening enlargement,but mitigated by apparent cohesion.The cutterhead vibration can merely exacerbate the relatively small TFGL,which implies the unjamming effect of the particle at the opening.The balanced support pressure(BSP)required for TFGL prevention rises remarkably with the increases in opening ratio,vibration amplitude,and frequency.The maximum BSP in unsaturated sandy ground reaches up to 0.18γD,which is significantly less than that of 1.62γD observed in saturated sandy ground.The tangential and radial intervals with the largest TFGL are located within the ranges of 82.5°-97.5°,and 0.3D≤r_(loss)≤0.45D,respectively.The increase in support pressure can alter the time-dependent development of TFGL from linear to stepwise,leading to convergence.The support pressure required for convergence is increased by cutterhead vibration and seepage,but decreased by apparent cohesion.Lastly,the prospects of the numerical study on TFGL under cutterhead vibration are also discussed.展开更多

Method: A total of 160 pregnant women with heart failure admit...Objective: This study focuses on the clinical observation of the impact of different treatment methods for gestational heart failure on delivery outcomes. Method: A total of 160 pregnant women with heart failure admitted to our hospital between October 2020 and October 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were categorized based on delivery mode, delivery timing, heart failure control time, and cardiac function status. The delivery outcomes of the different groups were then compared. Result: In terms of delivery methods, the rate of neonatal asphyxia was higher following vaginal delivery than cesarean section. Regarding delivery timing, the neonatal mortality rate was lower for cesarean sections performed at 32-36 + 6 weeks compared to those conducted at 37-39 + 6 weeks. With respect to heart failure control time, the rates of neonatal asphyxia and pulmonary hyaline membrane disease were lower in the ≤ 48- hour group than in the > 48-hour group. From the perspective of cardiac function status, patients with cardiac function I- II exhibited relatively lower rates of neonatal asphyxia and perinatal mortality compared to those with cardiac function III-IV. The observed differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: For patients with gestational heart failure, cesarean section is the recommended mode of delivery, with the optimal timing being between 32 and 36+6 weeks of pregnancy. During cesarean section, the timing of delivery should be carefully selected based on the mother’s cardiac function status.展开更多
The corrosion behavior of CoCrCu_(0.1)FeMoNi high entropy alloy(HEA)in 0.5 mol/L NaOH solution was investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,potentiodynamic pol...The corrosion behavior of CoCrCu_(0.1)FeMoNi high entropy alloy(HEA)in 0.5 mol/L NaOH solution was investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,potentiodynamic polarization measurement,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The results showed that the microstructure of this HEA displayed a dendritic morphology along with inter-dendritic regions.At the applied potential of–0.3,0,and 0.1 V vs.saturated calomel electrode(SCE),no significant damage to the surface of the alloy was observed.At the applied potentials of 0.15 and 0.2 V vs.SCE,selective detachment and tearing of the microstructure on the alloy surface were observed,attributed to micro-galvanic corrosion.HEA demonstrates typical spontaneous passivation behavior and exhibits capacitance at all five applied potentials.The energy dispersive spectroscopy results indicate significant elemental segregation within HEA,with a decrease in the content of Cr_(2)O_(3)in the passive film as the applied potential increases.Consequently,the protective efficacy of the passive film over the substrate in 0.5 mol/L NaOH solution was compromised.展开更多

Current developments in 3D printing (3DP) technology provide the opportunity to produce rock-like specimens and geotechnical models through additive man- ufacturing, that is, from a file viewed with a computer to a ...Current developments in 3D printing (3DP) technology provide the opportunity to produce rock-like specimens and geotechnical models through additive man- ufacturing, that is, from a file viewed with a computer to a real object. This study investigated the serviceability of 3DP products as substitutes for rock specimens and rock-type materials in experimental analysis of deformation and failure in the laboratory. These experiments were performed on two types of materials as follows: (1) compressive experiments on printed sand-powder specimens in different shapes and structures, including intact cylinders, cylinders with small holes, and cuboids with pre-existing cracks, and (2) com- pressive and shearing experiments on printed polylactic acid cylinders and molded shearing blocks. These tentative tests for 3DP technology have exposed its advantages in produc- ing complicated specimens with special external forms and internal structures, the mechanical similarity of its product to rock-type material in terms of deformation and failure, and its precision in mapping shapes from the original body to the trial sample (such as a natural rock joint). These experiments and analyses also successfully demonstrate the potential and prospects of 3DP technology to assist in the deformation and failure analysis of rock-type materials, as well as in the sim- ulation of similar material modeling experiments.展开更多
Enteroviruses(EVs)species A are a major public health issue in the Asia–Pacific region and cause frequent epidemics of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)in China.Mild infections are common in children;however,HFMD can...Enteroviruses(EVs)species A are a major public health issue in the Asia–Pacific region and cause frequent epidemics of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)in China.Mild infections are common in children;however,HFMD can also cause severe illness that affects the central nervous system.To molecularly characterize EVs,a prospective HFMD virological surveillance program was performed in China between 2013 and 2016.Throat swabs,rectal swabs and stool samples were collected from suspected HFMD patients at participating hospitals.EVs were detected using generic real-time and nested reverse transcription-polymerase chain reactions(RT-PCRs).Then,the complete VP1 regions of enterovirus A71(EV-A71),coxsackievirus A16(CVA16)and CVA6 were sequenced to analyze amino acid changes and construct a viral molecular phylogeny.Of the 2836 enrolled HFMD patients,2,517(89%)were EV positive.The most frequently detected EVs were CVA16(32.5%,819),CVA6(31.2%,785),and EV-A71(20.4%,514).The subgenogroups CVA16B1 b,CVA6D3 a and EV-A71C4 a were predominant in China and recombination was not observed in the VP1 region.Sequence analysis revealed amino acid variations at the 30,29 and 44 positions in the VP1 region of EV-A71,CVA16 and CVA6(compared to the respective prototype strains Br Cr,G10 and Gdula),respectively.Furthermore,in 21 of 24(87.5%)identified EV-A71 samples,a known amino acid substitution(D31 N)that may enhance neurovirulence was detected.Our study provides insights about the genetic characteristics of common HFMD-associated EVs.However,the emergence and virulence of the described mutations require further investigation.展开更多
AIM:To evaluate human gastric submucosal vascular dysfunction and its mechanism during the aging process.METHODS:Twenty male patients undergoing subtotal gastrectomy were enrolled in this study.Young and elderly patie...AIM:To evaluate human gastric submucosal vascular dysfunction and its mechanism during the aging process.METHODS:Twenty male patients undergoing subtotal gastrectomy were enrolled in this study.Young and elderly patient groups aged 25-40 years and 60-85 years,respectively,were included.Inclusion criteria were:no clinical evidence of cardiovascular,renal or diabetic diseases.Conventional clinical examinations were carried out.After surgery,gastric submucosal arteries were immediately dissected free of fat and connective tissue.Vascular responses to acetylcholine(ACh)and sodium nitroprusside(SNP)were measured by isolated vascular perfusion.Morphological changes in the gastric mucosal vessels were observed by hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining and Verhoeff van Gieson(EVG)staining.The expression of xanthine oxidase(XO)and manganese-superoxide dismutase(Mn-SOD)was assessed by Western blotting analysis.The malondialdehyde(MDA)and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)content and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)were determined according to commercial kits.RESULTS:The overall structure of vessel walls was shown by HE and EVG staining,respectively.Disruption of the internal elastic lamina or neointimal layers was not observed in vessels from young or elderly patients;however,cell layer number in the vessel wall increased significantly in the elderly group.Compared with submucosal arteries in young patients,the amount of vascular collagen fibers,lumen diameter and media cross-sectional area were significantly increased in elderly patients.Ach-and SNP-induced vasodilatation in elderly arterioles was significantly decreased compared with that of gastric submucosal arterioles from young patients.Compared with the young group,the expression of XO and the contents of MDA and H2O2in gastric submucosal arterioles were increased in the elderly group.In addition,the expression of Mn-SOD and the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in the elderly group decreased significantly compared with those in the young group.CONCLUSION:Gastric vascular dysfunction and senescence may be associated with increased oxidative stress and decreased antioxidative defense in the aging process.展开更多

文摘The term“nipple confusion”accurately describes the confusion newborns experience between their mother’s nipple and an artificial nipple during feeding.Specifically,it refers to the feeding habits infants develop based on their initial feeding experiences after birth.Infants accustomed to the maternal nipple often resist bottle-feeding;conversely,those accustomed to bottle-feeding may reject the maternal nipple.This confusion is particularly common among infants receiving mixed feeding.
文摘Objective: This study focuses on the clinical observation of the impact of different treatment methods for gestational heart failure on delivery outcomes. Method: A total of 160 pregnant women with heart failure admitted to our hospital between October 2020 and October 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were categorized based on delivery mode, delivery timing, heart failure control time, and cardiac function status. The delivery outcomes of the different groups were then compared. Result: In terms of delivery methods, the rate of neonatal asphyxia was higher following vaginal delivery than cesarean section. Regarding delivery timing, the neonatal mortality rate was lower for cesarean sections performed at 32-36 + 6 weeks compared to those conducted at 37-39 + 6 weeks. With respect to heart failure control time, the rates of neonatal asphyxia and pulmonary hyaline membrane disease were lower in the ≤ 48- hour group than in the > 48-hour group. From the perspective of cardiac function status, patients with cardiac function I- II exhibited relatively lower rates of neonatal asphyxia and perinatal mortality compared to those with cardiac function III-IV. The observed differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: For patients with gestational heart failure, cesarean section is the recommended mode of delivery, with the optimal timing being between 32 and 36+6 weeks of pregnancy. During cesarean section, the timing of delivery should be carefully selected based on the mother’s cardiac function status.

文摘The corrosion behavior of CoCrCu_(0.1)FeMoNi high entropy alloy(HEA)in 0.5 mol/L NaOH solution was investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,potentiodynamic polarization measurement,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The results showed that the microstructure of this HEA displayed a dendritic morphology along with inter-dendritic regions.At the applied potential of–0.3,0,and 0.1 V vs.saturated calomel electrode(SCE),no significant damage to the surface of the alloy was observed.At the applied potentials of 0.15 and 0.2 V vs.SCE,selective detachment and tearing of the microstructure on the alloy surface were observed,attributed to micro-galvanic corrosion.HEA demonstrates typical spontaneous passivation behavior and exhibits capacitance at all five applied potentials.The energy dispersive spectroscopy results indicate significant elemental segregation within HEA,with a decrease in the content of Cr_(2)O_(3)in the passive film as the applied potential increases.Consequently,the protective efficacy of the passive film over the substrate in 0.5 mol/L NaOH solution was compromised.

文摘Two-dimensional tellurium(2D-Te)exhibits strong spin-orbit coupling and a chiral structure.Studying its magnetotransport properties is crucial for the development of spintronic technologies and the exploration of novel device applications.The magnetotransport properties of 2D-Te under varying temperatures and high pressures warrant further study.In this paper,the magnetotransport behavior of 2D-Te under low-temperature and high-pressure conditions is investigated.At room temperature,the magnetoresistance(MR)increases with increasing magnetic field,exhibiting positive MR behavior below 4.3 GPa.During decompression,MR is almost constant with decreasing pressure.MR is more sensitive to pressure at lower temperatures.
文摘Paclitaxel is one of the commonly used drugs in postoperative chemotherapy for ovarian cancer patients. However, affected by drug dosage and individual differences in the course of medication, patients will have different degrees of adverse reactions, which will cause damage to the patient’s body once they occur. This paper retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of patients with severe allergic reactions such as fecal incontinence and numbness of hands and feet caused by the use of paclitaxel liposome during postoperative chemotherapy in a case of ovarian cancer admitted to our hospital. The causes and corresponding treatment measures were analyzed, in order to provide the reference for medical staff to take effective countermeasures in advance in the future.

文摘Current developments in 3D printing (3DP) technology provide the opportunity to produce rock-like specimens and geotechnical models through additive man- ufacturing, that is, from a file viewed with a computer to a real object. This study investigated the serviceability of 3DP products as substitutes for rock specimens and rock-type materials in experimental analysis of deformation and failure in the laboratory. These experiments were performed on two types of materials as follows: (1) compressive experiments on printed sand-powder specimens in different shapes and structures, including intact cylinders, cylinders with small holes, and cuboids with pre-existing cracks, and (2) com- pressive and shearing experiments on printed polylactic acid cylinders and molded shearing blocks. These tentative tests for 3DP technology have exposed its advantages in produc- ing complicated specimens with special external forms and internal structures, the mechanical similarity of its product to rock-type material in terms of deformation and failure, and its precision in mapping shapes from the original body to the trial sample (such as a natural rock joint). These experiments and analyses also successfully demonstrate the potential and prospects of 3DP technology to assist in the deformation and failure analysis of rock-type materials, as well as in the sim- ulation of similar material modeling experiments.

文摘Enteroviruses(EVs)species A are a major public health issue in the Asia–Pacific region and cause frequent epidemics of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)in China.Mild infections are common in children;however,HFMD can also cause severe illness that affects the central nervous system.To molecularly characterize EVs,a prospective HFMD virological surveillance program was performed in China between 2013 and 2016.Throat swabs,rectal swabs and stool samples were collected from suspected HFMD patients at participating hospitals.EVs were detected using generic real-time and nested reverse transcription-polymerase chain reactions(RT-PCRs).Then,the complete VP1 regions of enterovirus A71(EV-A71),coxsackievirus A16(CVA16)and CVA6 were sequenced to analyze amino acid changes and construct a viral molecular phylogeny.Of the 2836 enrolled HFMD patients,2,517(89%)were EV positive.The most frequently detected EVs were CVA16(32.5%,819),CVA6(31.2%,785),and EV-A71(20.4%,514).The subgenogroups CVA16B1 b,CVA6D3 a and EV-A71C4 a were predominant in China and recombination was not observed in the VP1 region.Sequence analysis revealed amino acid variations at the 30,29 and 44 positions in the VP1 region of EV-A71,CVA16 and CVA6(compared to the respective prototype strains Br Cr,G10 and Gdula),respectively.Furthermore,in 21 of 24(87.5%)identified EV-A71 samples,a known amino acid substitution(D31 N)that may enhance neurovirulence was detected.Our study provides insights about the genetic characteristics of common HFMD-associated EVs.However,the emergence and virulence of the described mutations require further investigation.

文摘AIM:To evaluate human gastric submucosal vascular dysfunction and its mechanism during the aging process.METHODS:Twenty male patients undergoing subtotal gastrectomy were enrolled in this study.Young and elderly patient groups aged 25-40 years and 60-85 years,respectively,were included.Inclusion criteria were:no clinical evidence of cardiovascular,renal or diabetic diseases.Conventional clinical examinations were carried out.After surgery,gastric submucosal arteries were immediately dissected free of fat and connective tissue.Vascular responses to acetylcholine(ACh)and sodium nitroprusside(SNP)were measured by isolated vascular perfusion.Morphological changes in the gastric mucosal vessels were observed by hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining and Verhoeff van Gieson(EVG)staining.The expression of xanthine oxidase(XO)and manganese-superoxide dismutase(Mn-SOD)was assessed by Western blotting analysis.The malondialdehyde(MDA)and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)content and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)were determined according to commercial kits.RESULTS:The overall structure of vessel walls was shown by HE and EVG staining,respectively.Disruption of the internal elastic lamina or neointimal layers was not observed in vessels from young or elderly patients;however,cell layer number in the vessel wall increased significantly in the elderly group.Compared with submucosal arteries in young patients,the amount of vascular collagen fibers,lumen diameter and media cross-sectional area were significantly increased in elderly patients.Ach-and SNP-induced vasodilatation in elderly arterioles was significantly decreased compared with that of gastric submucosal arterioles from young patients.Compared with the young group,the expression of XO and the contents of MDA and H2O2in gastric submucosal arterioles were increased in the elderly group.In addition,the expression of Mn-SOD and the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in the elderly group decreased significantly compared with those in the young group.CONCLUSION:Gastric vascular dysfunction and senescence may be associated with increased oxidative stress and decreased antioxidative defense in the aging process.
