Nickel-based materials,including metallic Ni and Ni oxide,have been widely studied in the exploration of non-precious-metal hydrogen electrocatalysts,but neither pure Ni nor NiO is ideal for the hydrogen evolution rea...Nickel-based materials,including metallic Ni and Ni oxide,have been widely studied in the exploration of non-precious-metal hydrogen electrocatalysts,but neither pure Ni nor NiO is ideal for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR).In this paper,an oxygen insertion strategy was applied on nickel to regulate its hydrogen electrocatalytic performance,and the oxygen-inserted nickel catalyst was successfully obtained with the assistance of tungsten dioxide support(denoted as O-Ni/WO_(2)).The partial insertion of oxygen in Ni maintains the face-centered cubic arrangement of Ni atoms,simultaneously expanding the lattice and increasing the lattice spacing.Consequently,the adsorption strength of^(*)H and^(*)OH on Ni is optimized,thus resulting in superior electrocatalytic performance of0-Ni/WO_(2)in alkaline HER/HOR.The Tafel slope of O-Ni/WO_(2)@NF for HER is 56 mV dec^(-1),and the kinetic current density of O-Ni/WO_(2)for HOR reaches 4.85 mA cm^(-2),which is ahead of most currently reported catalysts.Our proposed strategy of inserting an appropriate amount of anions into the metal lattice could provide more possibilities for the design of high-performance catalysts.展开更多
Hidden natural products are representative of defensive strategies produced in vivo in diseased plants,a process that is induced by the plant immune system.The first transcriptome library of uninfected and pathogen in...Hidden natural products are representative of defensive strategies produced in vivo in diseased plants,a process that is induced by the plant immune system.The first transcriptome library of uninfected and pathogen infected Hibiscus tiliaceus stems was constructed by transcriptome sequencing technology,genes related to cadinene-type sesquiterpenoid biosynthesis were screened and combined with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-QTOF-MS)analysis data,which indicated pathological tissue had potential to produce novel carbon skeletons of cadinane sesquiterpenoid dimers.Successfully,two cadinane-derived sesquiterpenoid dimers with unprecedented carbon skeletons,hibisceusanols A(1)and B(2)were isolated for the first time from the stems of H.tiliaceus induced by plant-microbial interactions.Their structures and absolute configurations were unambiguously established by spectroscopy,advanced chemistry development(ACD)and electronic circular dichroism(ECD)methods.Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited significant antitumor activity in vitro with half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(5)0)values of 2.3–7.2μmol/L.The anticancer effect was generated via the induction of Hep G2 cell apoptosis by inhibiting the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)pathway.展开更多
The underlying spin-related mechanism remains unclear,and the rational manipulation of spin states is challenging due to various spin configurations under different coordination conditions.Therefore,it is urgent to st...The underlying spin-related mechanism remains unclear,and the rational manipulation of spin states is challenging due to various spin configurations under different coordination conditions.Therefore,it is urgent to study spin-dependent oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance through a controllable method.Herein,we adopt a topochemical reaction method to synthesize a series of selenides with eg occupancies ranging from 1.67 to 1.37.The process begins with monoclinic-CoSeO_(3),featuring a distinct laminar structure and Co-O6 coordination.The topochemical reaction induces significant changes in the crystal field's intensity,leading to spin state transitions.These transitions are driven by topological changes from a Co-O-Se-O-Co to a Co-Se-Co configuration,strengthening the crystalline field and reducing eg orbital occupancy.This reconfiguration of spin states shifts the rate-determining step from desorption to adsorption for both OER and the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),reducing the potential-determined step barrier and enhancing overall catalytic efficiency.As a result,the synthesized cobalt selenide exhibits significantly enhanced adsorption capabilities.The material demonstrates impressive overpotentials of 35 mV for HER,250 mV for OER,and 270 mV for overall water splitting,indicating superior catalytic activity and efficiency.Additionally,a negative relation between eg filling and OER catalytic performance confirms the spin-dependent nature of OER.Our findings provide crucial insights into the role of spin state transitions in catalytic performance.展开更多

We also aimed to investigate ALDH2 genotypic distributions between subjects from high- and low-incidence areas for both GCA and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods: We designed a case-control study including 2,686 patients with GCA and 3,675 control subjects from high- and lowincidence areas for both GCA and ESCC in China. Taq Man allele discrimination assay was used to genotype the rs671 polymorphism. χ~2 test and binary logistic regression analysis were used to estimate the odds ratios for the development of GCA,and multivariate ordinal logistic regression was used to analyze ALDH2 genotypic distributions among different groups.Results: Compared with ALDH2*1/*1 homozygotes, ALDH2*1/*2 and ALDH2*2/*2 carriers did not increase the risk for GCA in the Chinese Han population(P>0.05). Interestingly, the ratio of homozygous or heterozygous ALDH2 *2 carriers in highincidence areas for both GCA and ESCC was lower than that in low-incidence areas(P<0.001).Conclusions: Genotypes of rs671 at ALDH2 may not increase GCA susceptibility in Chinese Han populations. In addition, the ALDH2 genotypic distribution differs between Chinese Han populations from high- and low-incidence areas for both GCA and ESCC. The purpose of the discussion is to understand the factors that influence SA and to help in de...This paper gives an analysis of the dynamic characteristics of situation elements(SEs) in situation awareness(SA)research. The purpose of the discussion is to understand the factors that influence SA and to help in designing the training systems to improve operators’ SA. The status function of SEs is defined and the derivative of the function represents trends of the status of SEs at each moment. Then, Fourier transform(FT) is used to give the frequency-domain function in terms of the time-domain status function. In frequency domain, the bandwidth of the status function is used as a criterion to characterize the notion of "fast" and"slow" of the change of SE’s status, which represents the dynamic characteristic of SEs. The criterion constitutes the first analytical measurement of the dynamic characteristic of SEs, which is one of the important factors that influence the SA process.展开更多

[Method] Using Micaps data, automatic meteorological observation data, sounding data and Doppler radar data, a hail process rarely happened in Daliutan Village, Yangli- uqing Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin City on July 10, 2011 was analyzed. Triggered mechanism of the hail weather was discussed. [ Result] The hail weather was generated by super cell which was triggered by sea breeze front and ground convergence interaction. Upper situation was in front of the forward tilted trough at bottom rear of the cold vortex, which was favorable for development of the strong convective weather. On ground map, water vapor transportation existed in easterly airflow at bottom rear of the high-pressure. Meanwhile, convergence zone also existed. It was wet lay- er over 0 ℃layer, and strong ascending motion existed, which was favorable for formation and development of the hail. Sea breeze front brought rich moisture, weak cold air and lifting effect when it moved toward inland from ocean, to make up for adverse conditions at low and middle layers. It could trigger a severely convective weather when moved to surface convergence zone. Doppler weather radar could monitor entire hail evolution process, [ Conclusion] The research had obvious guidance significance for judging hail process.展开更多

A survey was conducted daily for two weeks using an experien...This study aimed to investigate the relationship between sleep and workplace interpersonal conflict and the role ofego depletion as the mediating mechanism. A survey was conducted daily for two weeks using an experience samplingmethod. A sample of 79 employees from the East Coast of China was collected. A multilevel regression analysiswas conducted to test the proposed hypotheses. Results indicated that higher sleep quantity was associatedwith lower daily ego depletion at noon and lower workplace interpersonal conflict. Moreover, ego depletionmediated the effects of sleep quantity on workplace interpersonal conflict. The findings identified the adverseeffects of insufficient sleep on daily interpersonal interactions and provided a valuable perspective on workplaceinterpersonal conflict management. Furthermore, the study broadened the scope of antecedents that impact howemployees experience daily workplace interpersonal conflict and assessed the mediating role of ego depletion inthis relationship.展开更多
Based on L-band sounding data,threshold method of relative humidity was used to analyze vertical distribution characteristics of precipitation cloud system in Tianjin region.The results showed that main precipitation ...Based on L-band sounding data,threshold method of relative humidity was used to analyze vertical distribution characteristics of precipitation cloud system in Tianjin region.The results showed that main precipitation cloud system affecting Tianjin is cold and warm mixed cloud,followed by cold cloud,and precipitation of warm cloud is less.During May-November,precipitation of cold and warm mixed cloud is dominant,and it is dominant by precipitation of cold cloud from January to April.In four seasons,the precipitation frequency of double-layer cloud is the most,and precipitation of single-layer cloud mainly appears during March-November,and peak is in June.Peak of cloud system with three or more layers all appears in July and August.The cold cloud and warm cloud catalysts should be selected respectively for artificial precipitation enhancement in Tianjin.In winter,cold cloud catalyst operation is selected;in spring,summer and autumn,the cold cloud catalyst is spread in the cold cloud area,and the warm cloud catalyst is distributed in the warm cloud area according to the conditions of cloud layer.展开更多
Ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury paradoxically occurs during reperfusion following ischemia,exacerbating the initial tissue damage.The limited understanding of the intricate mechanisms underlying I/R injury hinders the...Ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury paradoxically occurs during reperfusion following ischemia,exacerbating the initial tissue damage.The limited understanding of the intricate mechanisms underlying I/R injury hinders the development of effective therapeutic interventions.The Wnt signaling pathway exhibits extensive crosstalk with various other pathways,forming a network system of signaling pathways involved in I/R injury.This review article elucidates the underlying mechanisms involved in Wnt signaling,as well as the complex interplay between Wnt and other pathways,including Notch,phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B,transforming growth factor-β,nuclear factor kappa,bone morphogenetic protein,N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptor-Ca2+-Activin A,Hippo-Yes-associated protein,toll-like receptor 4/toll-interleukine-1 receptor domain-containing adapter-inducing interferon-β,and hepatocyte growth factor/mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor.In particular,we delve into their respective contributions to key pathological processes,including apoptosis,the inflammatory response,oxidative stress,extracellular matrix remodeling,angiogenesis,cell hypertrophy,fibrosis,ferroptosis,neurogenesis,and blood-brain barrier damage during I/R injury.Our comprehensive analysis of the mechanisms involved in Wnt signaling during I/R reveals that activation of the canonical Wnt pathway promotes organ recovery,while activation of the non-canonical Wnt pathways exacerbates injury.Moreover,we explore novel therapeutic approaches based on these mechanistic findings,incorporating evidence from animal experiments,current standards,and clinical trials.The objective of this review is to provide deeper insights into the roles of Wnt and its crosstalk signaling pathways in I/R-mediated processes and organ dysfunction,to facilitate the development of innovative therapeutic agents for I/R injury.展开更多

文摘Ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury paradoxically occurs during reperfusion following ischemia,exacerbating the initial tissue damage.The limited understanding of the intricate mechanisms underlying I/R injury hinders the development of effective therapeutic interventions.The Wnt signaling pathway exhibits extensive crosstalk with various other pathways,forming a network system of signaling pathways involved in I/R injury.This review article elucidates the underlying mechanisms involved in Wnt signaling,as well as the complex interplay between Wnt and other pathways,including Notch,phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B,transforming growth factor-β,nuclear factor kappa,bone morphogenetic protein,N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptor-Ca2+-Activin A,Hippo-Yes-associated protein,toll-like receptor 4/toll-interleukine-1 receptor domain-containing adapter-inducing interferon-β,and hepatocyte growth factor/mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor.In particular,we delve into their respective contributions to key pathological processes,including apoptosis,the inflammatory response,oxidative stress,extracellular matrix remodeling,angiogenesis,cell hypertrophy,fibrosis,ferroptosis,neurogenesis,and blood-brain barrier damage during I/R injury.Our comprehensive analysis of the mechanisms involved in Wnt signaling during I/R reveals that activation of the canonical Wnt pathway promotes organ recovery,while activation of the non-canonical Wnt pathways exacerbates injury.Moreover,we explore novel therapeutic approaches based on these mechanistic findings,incorporating evidence from animal experiments,current standards,and clinical trials.The objective of this review is to provide deeper insights into the roles of Wnt and its crosstalk signaling pathways in I/R-mediated processes and organ dysfunction,to facilitate the development of innovative therapeutic agents for I/R injury.
