Multifunctional materials with proton conduction,circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)and a magneto-optical Faraday effect would provide a great opportunity for applications in luminescent,electrical,magneto-optical ...Multifunctional materials with proton conduction,circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)and a magneto-optical Faraday effect would provide a great opportunity for applications in luminescent,electrical,magneto-optical and optical-electronic smart devices.However,such types of multifunctional systems have rarely been reported.Herein,by introducing a chiral amine-phenol ligand,a pair of Cd(Ⅱ)-Tb(Ⅲ)enantiomers,[Cd_(2)Tb(RR/SS-H_(2)L)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(6)](ClO_(4))_(3)·2H_(2)O(R-1 and S-1)[H_(2)L=((SS/RR)-cyclohexane-1,2-diylbis(azanediyl)-bis(methylene)-bis(2-methoxyphenol))],were obtained.R-1 and S-1 feature the homochiral molecules of trinuclear Cd2Tb structures,which contain abundant H-bonds to form threedimensional(3D)supermolecular frameworks.They are chiral multifunctional materials showing strong Tb(Ⅲ)characteristic emissions,a moderate proton conductivity of 1.17×10^(-4) S cm^(-1) at 333 K and 100%RH for R-1,CPL with a luminescence dissymmetry factor value of over 10^(-3) for R-1 and S-1 and a strong magneto-optical Faraday effect,and they are the first known materials simultaneously showing CPL,proton conduction and the Faraday effect.展开更多
Luminescent metal-organic frameworks(LMOFs)have become a promising class of fluorescence sensing materials,however,the multi-responsive LMOF sensors for organic compounds are rather rare.Herein,a water stable and high...Luminescent metal-organic frameworks(LMOFs)have become a promising class of fluorescence sensing materials,however,the multi-responsive LMOF sensors for organic compounds are rather rare.Herein,a water stable and highly efficient luminescent MOF with the formula of{[Zn(BBZB)(2,6-NDC)]-solvents}n(JXUST-10,BBZB=4,7-bis(1H-benzimidazole-1-yl)-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole and 2,6-NDC=2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate)was constructed by the incorporation of Zn2+and two organic ligands(BBZB and 2,6-NDC)featuring the conjugate system.JXUST-10 is a three-dimensional two-fold interpenetrated framework with good fluorescent proper-ty.Based on the luminescent characteristic,JXUST-10 can be used as a multi-responsive sensor for detection of three different ana-lytes including tetracycline,benzaldehyde and uric acid via different luminescent change behaviours.Remarkably,fluorescence test paper and LED light devices are used to detect analytes through the visual change of luminescence colour of JXUST-10 from blue greenish to yellow greenish under ultraviolet light(365 nm)irradiation.Furthermore,the probable sensing mechanisms for three target analytes were also discussed.展开更多
Main observation and conclusion A series of all-donor type alternating(D1-D2)monodisperse oligomers based on cyclopentadithiophene(CPDT)and 1,4-difluoro-benzene(DFB)with gradually increasing chain lengths containing 3...Main observation and conclusion A series of all-donor type alternating(D1-D2)monodisperse oligomers based on cyclopentadithiophene(CPDT)and 1,4-difluoro-benzene(DFB)with gradually increasing chain lengths containing 3 to 15 monomers were successfully synthesized via one-pot C-H direct arylation reaction.As confirmed by various structural characterizations,all these long-chain oligomers are monodispersed with defined structures.The length-dependent optical and electrochemical properties with the evolution from the shortest oligomer(01)to the longest oligomer(07)and their parent polymer P1 have been studied in details.By simply tuning the mixing ratio of discrete oligomers,the photoluminescence(PL)in a wide range of color emissions extending to near-white can be facilely modulated,ilus-trating the potential of these monodisperse conjugated oligomers for light emission application.The atom-,step-and pot-economic synthetic strategy here developed will open the door toward efficient and controllable synthesis ofπ-conjugated oligomers for accu-rate structure-property relationship study and optic&electronic device applications.展开更多
