Ultrathin Li-rich Li-Cu binary alloy has become a competitive anode material for Li metal batteries of high energy density.However,due to the poor-lithiophilicity of the single skeleton structure of Li-Cu alloy,it has limitations in inducing Li nucleation and improving electrochemical performance.Hence,we introduced Ag species to Li-Cu alloy to form a 30μm thick Li-rich Li-Cu-Ag ternary alloy(LCA)anode,with Li-Ag infinite solid solution as the active phase,and Cu-based finite solid solutions as three-dimensional(3D)skeleton.Such nano-wire networks with LiCu4 and CuxAgy finite solid solution phases were prepared through a facile melt coating technique,where Ag element can act as lithiophilic specie to enhance the lithiophilicity of built-in skeleton,and regulate the deposition behavior of Li effectively.Notably,the formation of CuxAgy solid solution can strengthen the structural stability of the skeleton,ensuring the geometrical integrity of Li anode,even at the fully delithiated state.Meanwhile,the Li-Ag infinite solid solution phase can promote the Li plating/stripping reversibility of the LCA anode with an improved coulombic efficiency(CE).The synergistic effect between infinite and finite solid solutions could render an enhanced electrochemical performance of Li metal batteries.The LCA|LCA symmetric cells showed a long lifespan of over 600 h with stable polarization voltage of 40 mV,in 1 mA·cm^(-2)/1 mAh·cm^(-2).In addition,the full cells matching our ultrathin LCA anode with 17.2 mg·cm^(-2)mass loading of LiFePO_(4) cathode,can continuously operate beyond 110 cycles at 0.5C,with a high capacity retention of 91.5%.Kindly check and confirm the edit made in the article title. 展开更多

The role of axon guidance molecules in the pathogenesis of epilepsy

Current treatments for epilepsy can only manage the symptoms of the condition but cannot alter the initial onset or halt the progression of the disease. Consequently, it is crucial to identify drugs that can target novel cellular and molecular mechanisms and mechanisms of action. Increasing evidence suggests that axon guidance molecules play a role in the structural and functional modifications of neural networks and that the dysregulation of these molecules is associated with epilepsy susceptibility. In this review, we discuss the essential role of axon guidance molecules in neuronal activity in patients with epilepsy as well as the impact of these molecules on synaptic plasticity and brain tissue remodeling. Furthermore, we examine the relationship between axon guidance molecules and neuroinflammation, as well as the structural changes in specific brain regions that contribute to the development of epilepsy. Ample evidence indicates that axon guidance molecules, including semaphorins and ephrins, play a fundamental role in guiding axon growth and the establishment of synaptic connections. Deviations in their expression or function can disrupt neuronal connections, ultimately leading to epileptic seizures. The remodeling of neural networks is a significant characteristic of epilepsy, with axon guidance molecules playing a role in the dynamic reorganization of neural circuits. This, in turn, affects synapse formation and elimination. Dysregulation of these molecules can upset the delicate balance between excitation and inhibition within a neural network, thereby increasing the risk of overexcitation and the development of epilepsy. Inflammatory signals can regulate the expression and function of axon guidance molecules, thus influencing axonal growth, axon orientation, and synaptic plasticity. The dysregulation of neuroinflammation can intensify neuronal dysfunction and contribute to the occurrence of epilepsy. This review delves into the mechanisms associated with the pathogenicity of axon guidance molecules in epilepsy, offering a valuable reference for the exploration of therapeutic targets and presenting a fresh perspective on treatment strategies for this condition. 展开更多

To investigate the mechanisms of how nanobubbles enhance the flotation separation performance of galena from pyrite,the effects of nanobubbles on the surface properties of galena and pyrite and the interactions between mineral particles and air bubbles were examined in this study.Various analytical techniques,including focused beam reflectance measurement(FBRM),three-phase contact line(TPCL)analysis,atomic force microscopy(AFM),and contact angle measurement,were employed.It has been demonstrated that nanobubbles significantly enhanced the flotation recovery of galena and its flotation selectivity from pyrite,as compared to the conventional flotation process.The preferential formation of nanobubbles on the galena surface,which is more hydrophobic than pyrite surface,further increased the surface hydrophobicity and agglomeration of galena particles.The introduction of nanobubbles into the flotation system also increased in the maximum TPCL length and detachment length between the galena surface and bubbles,contributing to the enhanced flotation efficiency. 展开更多

本文采用踏查法对罗霄山脉地区大型真菌资源进行了为期5年的调查,共采集标本5,100多号。结合形态学与分子生物学方法,鉴定出大型真菌2门7纲20目72科218属672种,其中幕阜山脉115种、九岭山脉168种、武功山脉77种、万洋山脉220种、诸广山... 本文采用踏查法对罗霄山脉地区大型真菌资源进行了为期5年的调查,共采集标本5,100多号。结合形态学与分子生物学方法,鉴定出大型真菌2门7纲20目72科218属672种,其中幕阜山脉115种、九岭山脉168种、武功山脉77种、万洋山脉220种、诸广山脉193种;新增罗霄山脉新记录属37个、新记录种514种。对罗霄山脉大型真菌物种组成分析表明,含10种以上的优势科有18科,其物种数占物种总数的73.36%,为多孔菌科、蘑菇科、粉褶蕈科等;含5种以上的优势属有34属,其物种数占物种总数的55.36%,包括粉褶蕈属(Entoloma)、鹅膏属(Amanita)、小皮伞属(Marasmius)等;在该山脉发现中国特有属2个,中国特有种46个。大型真菌资源利用价值评估表明,罗霄山脉有食用菌133种、药用菌136种、毒菌87种,部分种类具有良好的应用前景。本研究为该地区大型真菌资源的保护、利用和管理提供了较重要的科学依据。 展开更多

The measurement of low-level radioactivity using high-purity germanium(HPGe)detectors is important in applications such as environmental background radiation,material screening,and rare decays.The dead layers,dead zones,aluminum shell thickness,and diameter of Ge crystals are the most influential factors affecting the performance of HPGe detectors;hence,precise modeling of the physical conditions of the detectors is highly desirable.In this study,the GEANT4 simulation framework with an optimized detector geometry adequately replicated the experimentally recorded spectrum.These detector simulations explored the idea of realizing a dead zone(an inactive volume)at the backend of an n-type coaxial Gecrystal.Using multigamma sources,the effect of true coincidence summing(TCS)on the full energy peak(FEP)efficiency calibration of an HPGe detector was investigated as a function of sample-to-detector distance.Good agreements between the simulated and experimental efficiencies as well as the simulated and analytically calculated summing coincidence correction coefficients were achieved.At a short distance between the source and detector,calculating the correction factors for a strong source posed challenges owing to significant deadtime and pile-up effects of the detection system.The described methodology can efficiently determine summing peak probabilities at short sample-to-detector distances. 展开更多

The selective catalytic deoxygenation of oxy-organics in Fischer-Tropsch mixed oil for its high value utilization is challenging.Herein,a BaCO_(3)/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst was prepared calciningγ-Al_(2)O_(3) with BaCO_(3),and the acid-alkalinity of the catalyst was regulated by introducing alkaline Ba basic sties.In a co ntinuous fixed-bed reactor with a feed mass space velocity of 1 h~(-1)and reaction temperature of 330℃,BaCO_(3)/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst can efficiently catalyzed the deoxygenation removal of 1-octanol in Fischer-Tropsch C10mixture oil.It also inhibited the isomerization of 1-decene in the C10 mixture.The catalytic deoxygenation kinetics of 1-octanol were also studied.The reaction was endothermic with an activation energy of 64 kJ·mol^(-1)and a reaction order of 2.In addition,theoretical studies revealed the adsorption and activation of 1-decene on the Lewis acidic site and the alkaline Ba basic sites,1-decene was more easily underwent isomerization into 2-decene at Lewis acid sites.This research provides a useful method to enable the industrial application of catalytic deoxygenation of alcohols in Fischer-Tropsch synthetic oil. 展开更多

Electrostatic potential distribution image-transfer learning method for highly accurate prediction of lithium diffusion barriers on transition metal dichalcogenide surfaces

Calculating the inter-layer ion diffusion barrier, a crucial metric for evaluating the rate performance of 2D electrode materials, is time-consuming using the transition state search approach. A novel electrostatic potential distribution image (EPDI) transfer learning method has been proposed to efficiently and accurately predict the lithium diffusion barriers on metal element-doped transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) surfaces. Through the analysis of the mean electrostatic potential (MEP) around binding sites, a positive correlation between binding energy and MEP in VIB-TMDs was identified. Subsequently, transfer learning techniques were used to develop a DenseNet121-TL model for establishing a more accurate mapping between the binding energy and electrostatic potential distribution. Trained on training sets containing 33% and 50% transition state search calculation results, which save 66% and 50% of the calculation time, respectively, the model achieves accurate predictions of the saddle point binding energy with mean absolute errors (MAEs) of 0.0444 and 0.0287 eV on the testing set. Based on the prediction of saddle point binding energies, we obtained a diffusion minimum energy profile with an MAE of 0.0235 eV. Furthermore, by analyzing the diffusion data, we observed that the diffusion barrier was lowered by 10% on V-doped TiS2 compared to the stoichiometric surface. Our findings are expected to provide new insights for the high-throughput calculation of ion diffusion on 2D materials. 展开更多

Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder affecting~65 million individuals worldwide.Abnormal synaptic plasticity is one of the most important pathological features of this condition.We investigated how ubiquitin-specific peptidase 47(USP47)influences synaptic plasticity and its link to epilepsy.We found that USP47 enhanced excitatory postsynaptic transmission and increased the density of total dendritic spines and the proportion of mature dendritic spines.Furthermore,USP47 inhibited the degradation of the ubiquitinatedα-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid receptor(AMPAR)subunit glutamate receptor 1(GluR1),which is associated with synaptic plasticity.In addition,elevated levels of USP47 were found in epileptic mice,and USP47 knockdown reduced the frequency and duration of seizure-like events and alleviated epileptic seizures.To summarize,we present a new mechanism whereby USP47 regulates excitatory postsynaptic plasticity through the inhibition of ubiquitinated GluR1 degradation.Modulating USP47 may offer a potential approach for controlling seizures and modifying disease progression in future therapeutic strategies. 展开更多

The SiTian project,with its vast field of view,will become an ideal platform for scientific research on asteroids.In this study,we develop a pipeline to analyze the photometry of asteroids and derive their periods from the data collected by the SiTian pathfinder project Mini-SiTian(MST).The pipeline is applied to the MST f02 region,an MST test region with a sky area of 2°.29×1°.53.Rotation periods of 22 asteroids are derived by the obtained light curve analysis.Among them,there are eight asteroids available in the Asteroid Lightcurve Photometry Database(ALCDEF),and six of them with more photometric points(>200)that have similar period parameters as the ones in ALCDEF.Additionally,the periods for 14 of these asteroids are newly obtained and are not listed in ALCDEF.This study demonstrates the feasibility of asteroid photometric research by the SiTian project.It shows that future observations from the SiTian project will provide even more photometry of asteroids,significantly increasing the number of available light curves.The potential vast photometric data on asteroids will help us to further understand the physics of asteroids,their material composition,and the formation and evolution of the solar system. 展开更多

[Objectives]To explore the methods for identifying pure honey.[Methods]Using 35 batches of Jiulongteng honey sourced from various production areas in Guangxi as the research subjects,this study investigated the chromogenic reactions of starch and dextrin,as well as the comparative study of thin-layer chromatography of oligosaccharides present in Jiulongteng honey.[Results]None of the 35 batches of Jiulongteng honey samples exhibited blue(indicating starch),green,or reddish-brown(indicating dextrin)coloration,suggesting that no adulterants such as artificially added starch,dextrin,or sugar were present in these samples.Furthermore,none of the 35 batches displayed additional spots below the corresponding positions of the control,indicating that the sugar composition was consistent with the oligosaccharide profile of natural honey.No components inconsistent with the oligosaccharide profile of natural honey were detected.Therefore,it can be concluded that the Jiulongteng honey samples in this experiment were pure and free from adulteration with starch,dextrin,or other sugar substances.[Conclusions]The method employed in this experiment is straightforward and quick to implement,effectively preventing adulterated honey from entering the market.It enhances the efficiency of quality control for Jiulongteng honey and promotes the healthy development of the Jiulongteng honey industry. 展开更多

Zn-N_(2)batteries,which are comprised of nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),represent an emerging technology for efficient ammonia production and simultaneous power generation.Nevertheless,the intrinsic limitations of NRR and OER currently preclude its advancement.In this paper,Co and B co-doped Lavoisier framework series materials(MIL)are synthesized.Rapid mass transfer is rendered feasible with B_(0.25)-MIL-88-Fe_(4)Co_(1) by the distinctive double cone microrods structure.The addition of soft acid metal node Co^(2+)and B with defective electronic structure modifies the electronic configuration of MIL-88-Fe.At the same time,doping causes defects in the metal-organic frameworks,expands effectively the pore size,and increases the specific surface area,thereby expediting the adsorption of N_(2)and the release of O_(2).The electrocatalysis results show that the dual-doping scheme increases the NH_(3)yield(127.27μg^(-1)h^(-1)mg_(cat)^(-1))and Faraday efficiency(25.81%)while reducing the overpotential of OER(330 mV),achieving a power density of 8.30 mW cm^(-2)for Zn-N_(2)batteries.This discovery implements another avenue for the exploration of Zn-N_(2)battery materials and holds broader significance for advancing the field of energy storage and conversion. 展开更多

As an emerging multifunctional metal with the lowest melting point except for mercury,gallium combines a wide range of metallic and non-metallic elements to form advanced semiconductors critically important in cutting-edge technologies.However,due to its low melting point and poor machinability,it is quite difficult to simultaneously characterize gallium’s elastic properties and damping characteristics using conventional methods,which is es-sential in designing and evaluating gallium-based structures.Therefore,developing effective methods to achieve accurate and efficient measurements of Young’s modulus and corresponding internal friction of gallium is of great significance.This letter studies simultaneous measurements of the variations in Young’s modulus and internal friction of gallium at varying temperatures by employing the modified piezoelectric ultrasonic composite oscil-lator technique.Combining the explicit theoretical formulas with the measured resonance and anti-resonance frequencies,it has been discovered that Young’s modulus undergoes an approximately linear decrease as the temperature rises,declining from 83.84 GPa at -70℃ to 79.37 GPa at 20℃.Moreover,like aluminum in the same Group ⅢA of the Periodic Table of Elements and exhibits a grain-boundary internal friction peak,gallium displays a longitudinal internal friction peak at approximately-12°C,with the peak value reaching 1.77×10^(-3).This basic research on gallium’s elastic properties and damping characteristics under low-temperature condi-tions will inspire further explorations of the mechanical properties of a diverse spectrum of low-melting-point functional materials and facilitate applications of gallium-based structures under complex conditions. 展开更多

The process of riming significantly impacts the microphysical characteristics of clouds.This study uses aircraft and radar observation data in stratiform clouds with convection embedded that occurred in the central and southern regions of North China on 22 May 2017.The microphysical structural characteristics and processes near the embedded convection core and in the stratiform cloud are analyzed comparatively.Particular attention is given to the effect of riming on the microphysical properties near the upper boundary of the melting layer and to the factors influencing riming efficiency.The collaborative observations reveal that the particle size distributions observed near the convection core and in the stratiform region are close,while the particle properties like habit and riming degree are quite different.Above the melting layer,larger plate-like ice particles and supercooled water droplets(D>50μm)are more abundant near the convective core,leading to higher collision efficiencies between ice particles and supercooled water droplets.Larger fluctuation amplitudes of vertical airflow near the convective core also contribute to the increased riming activity and the formation of more heavily rimed particles,such as graupel.Furthermore,in situ measurements from airborne probes also revealed that above the melting layer,the riming process involves two stages:the mass of snow crystals grows as supercooled droplets merge internally without changing size,followed by external freezing that significantly enlarges the crystals. 展开更多

Many existing immune detection algorithms rely on a large volume of labeled self-training samples,which are often difficult to obtain in practical scenarios,thus limiting the training of detection models.Furthermore,noise inherent in the samples can substantially degrade the detection accuracy of these algorithms.To overcome these challenges,we propose an immune generation algorithm that leverages clustering and a rebound mechanism for label propagation(LP-CRI).The dataset is randomly partitioned into multiple subsets,each of which undergoes clustering followed by label propagation and evaluation.The rebound mechanism assesses the model’s performance after propagation and determines whether to revert to its previous state,initiating a subsequent round of propagation to ensure stable and effective training.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is both computationally efficient and easy to train,significantly enhancing detector performance and outperforming traditional immune detection algorithms. 展开更多

Impact of banks’ESG disclosure assurance on borrowers’ESG performance:Evidence from China

This study examines the impact of banks’environmental,social,and governance(ESG)disclosure assurance(BEDA)on borrowing enterprises’ESG performance to investigate China’s bank-enterprise loan relationships.Using manually collected bank loan relationship data and financial data of Chinese listed companies from 2010 to 2021,our findings reveal that BEDA significantly enhances borrowers’ESG performance.Moreover,this effect is more pronounced when banks have a higher information demand,better internal controls,and share auditors with borrowers;when borrowers operate in environmentally sensitive industries,and in the period following the Paris Agreement signing.Among the individual ESG subcategories,the impact of BEDA on borrowers’ESG performance is primarily reflected in environmental(E)and social(S)considerations.Finally,we do not find that BEDA significantly suppresses banks’greenwashing.These findings indicate that BEDA has an informational or advisory influence on banks’ESG governance rather than a supervisory role at this stage of sustainability reporting development.This study suggests that policymakers should guide BEDA’s evolution from a passive information tool to a proactive governance tool,facilitating enterprises in achieving sub‐stantive ESG transformations while reducing systemic greenwashing risks. 展开更多

Learning to Predict 3D Meshes from a Single Image via Depth Consistency

Reconstructing three-dimensional(3D)shapes from a single image remains a significant challenge in computer vision due to the inherent ambiguity caused by missing or occluded shape information.Previous studies have predominantly focused on mesh models supervised by multi-view silhouettes.However,such methods are limited in reconstructing fine details.In this study,a 3D mesh model is predicted from a single image,leveraging depth consistency and without requiring viewpoint pose annotations.The model effectively learns strong shape priors that preserve finer structures and accurately predicts view poses from"correlation-supervised"viewpoints.Additionally,standard deviation and Laplacian losses were employed to regulate mesh edge distribution,resulting in more precise reconstructions.Differentiable renderer functions were derived from the 3D mesh to generate depth maps.Compared to conventional approaches,the proposed method provided superior representation of subtle structures.When applied to both synthetic and real-world datasets,the model outperformed existing methods in view-based 3D reconstruction tasks. 展开更多

Solar-driven carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)provides an oppor tunity to produce value-added chemical feedstocks and fuels.However,achieving efficient and stable photoelectrochemical(PEC)CO_(2)RR into selec tive products is challenging owing to the difficulties associated with the optical and the electrical configuration of PEC devices and electrocatalyst properties.Herein,we construct an efficient,concentrated sunlight-driven CO_(2)RR setup consisting of InGaP/GaAs/Ge triple-junction cell as a photoanode and oxide-derived Au(Ox-Au)as a cathode to perform the unassisted PEC CO_(2)RR.Under one-sun illumination,a maximum operating current density of 11.5 mA cm^(-2) with an impressive Faradaic efficiency(FE)of~98%is achieved for carbon monoxide(CO)production,leading to a solar-to-fuel conversion efficiency of~15%.Under concentrated intensity of 10 sun,the photoanode records a maximum current density of~124 mAcm^(-2) and maintains~60%of FE for CO production.The results demonstrate crucial advancements in usingⅢ-Ⅴbased photoanodes for concentrated PEC CO_(2)RR. 展开更多

The dysregulation of cyclin-dependent kinase 12(CDK12),which may result from genomic alterations or modulation by upstream effectors,is implicated in cancer oncogenesis and progression.CDK12 overexpression or activation is sufficient to induce tumor initiation,recurrence,and therapeutic resistance.However,CDK12 may also exert tumor-suppressive functions in a context-dependent manner.Therefore,caution is warranted when targeting CDK12 in future clinical trials.A comprehensive elucidation of the dual roles and underlying mechanisms of CDK12 in carcinogenesis is urgently needed to advance precision oncology.This review provides an overview of the current understanding of the dysregulation and biological roles of CDK12 in cancer.Subsequently,we systematically summarize the functions and mechanisms of the oncogenic and tumor-suppressive roles of CDK12 in different contexts.Finally,we discuss the potential of CDK12 as a novel therapeutic target and its implications in clinical oncology,offering insights into future directions for innovative cancer treatment strategies. 展开更多

Highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) is frequently adopted as the reaction target in12C+12C fusion reaction experiments owing to its superior purity.In this study,we investigate the reaction yield dependence on the accumulated beam dose on HOPG target using a novel detection system consisting of a time-projection chamber and silicon array.The reaction yields are significantly reduced under intense beam bombardment owing to radiation damage to the HOPG surface.The α_(0) and p_(0,1) yields decrease by 51.5% and 25%,respectively,when the ^(12)C^(2+) beam dose accumulates at 5 C.Using the novel detection system and HOPG target,the α0yield is determined to be 2.68_(-1.69)^(+4.69)×10^(-17/12) C after correcting for the yield loss due to radiation damage.Our result represents the highest sensitivity achieved to date in direct measurements of ^(12)C(12C,α_(0))^(20)Ne. 展开更多
