The model shows that there exists a strong nonlinearity in the system. Then, the system is identified using a wavelet networks method. To avoid the curse-of-dimensionality problem, a class of wavelet networks proposed by Billings is employed. The experimental data acquired from the test bench are used for identification. A total of 8,795 mosquitoes, belonging to four species of three genera, and 1,300 midges were collected. The mosquito samples were identified on site according to their morphology, and the pooled samples were ground and centrifuged in the laboratory. The supernatant was incubated with mosquito tissue culture cells(C6/36) and mammalian cells(BHK-21) for virus isolation. The results indicated that 40%(3,540/8,795) were Anopheles sinensis, 30%(2,700/8,795) were Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus, and 29%(2,530/8,795)were Armigeres subbalbeatus. Furthermore, a total of eight virus isolates were obtained, and genome sequencing revealed two Zika viruses(ZIKVs) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Armigeres subbalbeatus, respectively; three Japanese encephalitis viruses(JEVs) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus; two Banna viruses(BAVs) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Anopheles sinensis, respectively; and one densovirus(DNV) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus. The ZIKVs isolated from the Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Armigeres subbalbeatus mosquitoes represent the first ZIKV isolates in China's Mainland. This discovery presents new challenges for the prevention and control of ZIKV in China, and prompts international cooperation on this global issue.展开更多

文摘Fractures are of great significance to tight oil and gas development.Fracture identification using conventional well logs is a feasible way to locate the underground fractures in tight sandstones. However, there are three problems affecting its interpretation accuracy and practical application, namely weak well log responses of fractures,a lack of specific logs for fracture prediction, and relative change omission in log responses. To overcome these problems and improve fracture identification accuracy,a fracture indicating parameter(FIP)method composed of a comprehensive index method(CIM)and a comprehensive fractal method(CFM)is introduced. The CIM tries to handle the first problem by amplifying log responses of fractures. The CFM addresses the third one using fractal dimensions. The flexible weight parameters corresponding to logs in the CIM and CFM make the interpretation possible for wells lacking specific logs. The reconstructed logs in the CIM and CFM try to solve the second problem. It is noted that the FIP method can calculate the probability of fracture development at a certain depth, but cannot show the fracture development degree of a new well compared with other wells. In this study,a formation fracture intensity(FFI)method is also introduced to further evaluate fracture development combined with production data.To test the validity of the FIP and FFI methods, fracture identification experiments are implemented in a tight reservoir in the Ordos Basin. The results are consistent with the data of rock core observation and production, indicating the proposed methods are effective for fracture identification and evaluation.
文摘Chronic occlusion of large intracranial arteries is the main cause of ischemic stroke in China.Patients with symptomatic intracranial artery occlusion and hemodynamic impairment are at high risk of recurrent stroke.Chronic occlusion of the intracranial segment of the internal carotid artery is a common type of intracranial artery occlusion.Medical management is regarded as the standard treatment for this disease. With the development of endovascular treatment, some patients with chronic cerebral artery occlusion have achieved satisfactory results with endovascular therapy. We reported a patient with symptomatic chronic occlusion of the ophthalmic segment of the internal carotid artery.Simple balloon angioplasty was performed, and the occluded ophthalmic segment of the internal carotid artery was successfully recanalized without perioperative complications. At 4 months followup, the internal carotid artery remained patent and perfusion of the right cerebral hemisphere improved dramatically. In addition,we briefly reviewed the relevant literature.

文摘Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))has garnered significant attention in the field of catalysis due to the high density of active sites in its unique two-dimensional(2D)structure,which could be developed into numerous high-performance catalysts. The synthesis of ultra-small MoS2 particles(<10 nm)is highly desired in various experimental studies. The ultra-small structure could often lead to a distinct S-Mo coordination state and nonstoichiometric composition in MoSx,minimizing in-plane active sites of the 2D structure and making it probable to regulate the atomic and electronic structure of its intrinsic active sites on a large extent, especially in MoSx clusters. This article summarizes the recent progress of catalysis over ultra-small undoped MoS_(2) particles for renewable fuel production.Through a systematic review of their synthesis, structural, and spectral characteristics,as well as the relationship between their catalytic performance and inherent defects,we aim to provide insights into catalysis over this matrix that may potentially enable advancement in the development of high-performance MoS_(2)-based catalysts for sustainable energy generation in the future.

文摘Medium spiny neurons(MSNs)in the striatum, which can be divided into D1 and D2 MSNs,originate from the lateral ganglionic eminence(LGE).Previously,we reported that Six3 is a downstream target of Sp8/Sp9 in the transcriptional regulatory cascade of D2 MSN development and that conditionally knocking out Six3 leads to a severe loss of D2 MSNs.Here,we showed that Six3 mainly functions in D2 MSN precursor cells and gradually loses its function as D2 MSNs mature.Conditional deletion of Six3 had little effect on cell proliferation but blocked the differentiation of D2 MSN precursor cells. In addition, conditional overexpression of Six3 promoted the differentiation of precursor cells in the LGE.We measured an increase of apoptosis in the postnatal striatum of conditional Six3-knockout mice. This suggests that,in the absence of Six3,abnormally differentiated D2 MSNs are eliminated by programmed cell death. These results further identify Six3 as an important regulatory element during D2 MSN differentiation.

文摘A theoretical model of a humidifier of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell systems is developed and analyzed first in this paper. The model shows that there exists a strong nonlinearity in the system. Then, the system is identified using a wavelet networks method. To avoid the curse-of-dimensionality problem, a class of wavelet networks proposed by Billings is employed. The experimental data acquired from the test bench are used for identification. The one-step-ahead predictions and the five-step-ahead predictions are compared with the real measurements, respectively. It shows that the identified model can effectively describe the real system.

文摘A field investigation of arboviruses was conducted in Dejiang, Guizhou Province in the summer of 2016. This discovery presents new challenges for the prevention and control of ZIKV in China, and prompts international cooperation on this global issue.

文摘The dynamic extracellular matrix(ECM)constantly affects the behaviors of cells. To mimic the dynamics of ECM with controllable stiffness and energy dissipation, this study proposes a strategy in which a small molecule,3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde(DB),was used as fast"dynamic bridges"to construct viscoelastic gelatin methacryloyl(GelMA)-based hydrogels. The storage modulus and loss modulus of hydrogels were independently adjusted by the covalent crosslinking density and by the number of dynamic bonds. The hydrogels exhibited self-healing property, injectability, excellent adhesion and mechanical properties. Moreover, the in vitro results revealed that the viscous dissipation of hydrogels favored the spreading, proliferation, osteogenesis and chondrogenesis of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs),but suppressed their adipogenesis.RNA-sequencing and immunofluorescence suggested that the viscous dissipation of hydrogels activated Yes-associated protein(YAP)by stabilizing integrinβ1,and further promoted nuclear translocation of smad2/3 andβ-catenin to enhance chondrogenesis and osteogenesis. As a result, the viscoelastic GelMA hydrogels with highest loss modulus showed best effect in cartilage and subchondral bone repair.Taken together, findings from this study reveal an effective strategy to fabricate viscoelastic hydrogels for modulating the interactions between cells and dynamic ECM to promote tissue regeneration.

文摘The fracture-cave reservoirs controlled by strike-slip faults are the main targets for oil and gas exploration of ultradeep carbonate in the Tarim Basin. It is of great significance to clarify the distribution rules of fractures related to strike-slip faults for guiding the exploration and development of ultra-deep oil and gas.In this study, six groups of strike-slip fault 3D models based on discrete element numerical simulation method have been created to investigate characteristics of fault-related fracture development and distribution law.In addition,we compared the modeling results to the measurement of fractures from the outcrop of a strike-slip fault in the Northern Tarim Basin to verify their validity. The results show that the stress environment is stable in the simple strike-slip section, and fractures intersecting with the strike-slip direction at a small angle are the principal fracture. In the releasing stepover and double-bend sections, the maximum principal stress changes from horizontal to vertical during the formation of pull-apart zones, where the principal fractures intersect the strike-slip direction at a large angle. The maximum principal stress in the restraining stepover and double-bend section remains horizontal, but their strikes change significantly with the increment of fault displacement. Thus, fractures intersecting the strike-slip direction at a small angle will become principal fractures early on,while those parallel to or anti-intersecting the strike-slip direction at a small angle will become principal fractures later. There are obvious differences in the development of fractures in different structural positions of strike-slip faults.Fractures are mainly concentrated in the fault tips, connections, and fault plane, and the magnitude of the fault damage zone is relatively larger in the first two.Compared with fault displacement, the principal damage zone(PDZ)shows stronger control on the distribution and development intensity of fractures. With the increment of fault displacement, the width of the fault damage zone and the fracture density first rapidly increases before the formation of PDZ and then slows down. Moreover, the formation time of PDZ in the restraining double-bend and stepover section is earlier than the simple strike-slip,releasing double-bend,and releasing stepover sections, and absorb more strain before the formation of the principal displacement zone. Thus, the restraining sections have the highest fracture intensity, followed by the pull-apart sections, then the simple strikeslip section. The results play an important role in understanding the development law of fractures related to strike-slip faults in different arrangements and move modes.

文摘Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid insecticide used for managing the Asian citrus psyllid,Diaphorina citri Kuwayama, which serves as vector of phytopathogens causing citrus greening. However, development of resistance to neonicotinoids among populations of D.citri has coincided with occasional control failures in the field. The objectives of this research were to(1)survey current levels of imidacloprid resistance in Florida citrus;(2)compare feeding behavior between imidacloprid-resistant and susceptible D.citri using electrical penetration graph recordings,and(3)investigate the possible amplification of insecticide hormoligosis associated with resistance.Field surveys confirmed that the susceptibility of D.citri populations to imidacloprid has decreased in commercial Florida citrus groves compared with a laboratory-susceptible population.Following 12 generations of selection, resistance to imidacloprid increased by 438 fold compared with the susceptible strain.Imidacloprid-susceptible D.citri feeding on citrus exhibited significantly more bouts associated with intercellular pathway(C),phloem penetration(D),phloem salivation(E1),and nonprobing(Np)activities than imidacloprid-resistant counterparts. However, there were no differences observed in the frequency or duration of phloem ingestion or xylem feeding between susceptible and resistant D.citri.There was no statistical difference in fecundity between resistant and susceptible strains. However, the fecundity of imidacloprid-susceptible female D.citri treated with a sublethal concentration of imidacloprid(LC_(25))increased significantly compared with controls, while such hormoligosis was less pronounced among imidacloprid-resistant psyllids. Our results suggest that imidacloprid-resistant psyllids may cease feeding sooner than susceptible counterparts following sublethal exposure to this insecticide, indicative of a behavioral resistance mechanism.
