China's first Mars exploration mission will carry out comprehensive global surveys of the planet from data collected by instruments carried in orbit and roving on the planet itself.Goals of the mission include detailed inspections and surveys of key areas on the surface of Mars.One of the main scientific payloads installed on the orbiter is the moderate resolution camera.Its mission is to image the surface of Mars sufficiently to produce a global remote sensing image map of the planet,and to explore and record changes to the topography of Mars,including major geological structures,and to advance research on topography and geomorphology in general.The moderate resolution camera uses a lightweight and compact integrated design;its primary components are an optical module,a focal plane module,a camera control module,a power and interface module,a camera support module,a thermal control module,and a reference module.Radiometric calibration,color calibration,and geometric calibration have been carried out to ensure that the camera can acquire sufficient accurate data to complete mission goals.This paper introduces the camera's detection mission,its system composition,and its working principle;it also describes the camera's ground calibration tests and their results,and provides a reference for processing the camera's scientific data and for future applications. 展开更多

According to the rice quality,production and resistance of 50 high-quality inbred rice varieties bred and examined and approved in Guangxi during the period 2000-2011,we analyze the current breeding situation and existing problems concerning high-quality inbred rice va- riety in Guangxi: the rice quality has been greatly improved,but the amylose content is still low; a series of scented rice varieties with high quality and high yield have been bred,such as Zhongguangxiang No. 1,Sanxiang 628,Guixiang No. 1,Liufengxiangzhan,Jiafuxiang No. 1, Zhaoxiang No. 1; the production of high-quality inbred rice during the period 2009-2011 was significantly enhanced,annually more than 66 00 kg / ha,but the disease resistance of rice variety bred was generally poor,and disease-resistant breeding stuck in the mud. Henceforth it is necessary to be oriented by the rice market,and take the rice type with long grain,high adhesive strength,medium-low amylose content and low chalkiness degree as the breeding objectives; introduce the existing high-quality variety resources with medium amylose content at home and abroad,then directly use them or innovate upon them as hybrid strain; take the thick-and-long-grain rice type as breeding objectives,and further improve the yield per unit area of high-quality inbred rice by improving the thousand-grain weight; increase capital investment,improve breeding techniques,strengthen disease-resistant and degeneration-resistant breeding,and improve the application of modern biotechnology in the breeding of high-quality inbred rice. 展开更多

The S-CO_(2) top-bottom combined cycle based on overlap energy utilization can lead to excessive heating area,due to the small temperature difference and the large thermal load for the heating surface at the tail of the boiler.Therefore,reasonable optimization indexes are needed for design optimization.Common optimization indexes include heating area and working medium pressure drop,but lower working medium pressure drop usually leads to large heating area,for example,with the increase of tube inner diameter or boiler width,the pressure drop decreases but the heating area increases.Thus,if both are used as optimization indexes,it will be difficult to choose the optimum tube inner diameter and boiler width.In this paper,exergy loss analysis is used,in combination with economic analysis,the optimization index is unified to the cost per unit heat transfer of the heating surface.The thermal calculation and pressure drop calculation models are established for the heating surface at the tail of the boiler.The optimized heating surface can greatly improve the economic benefit. 展开更多

Grain orientation design via gradient strain path for enhanced strength-ductility synergy in AZ31 Magnesium alloy sheets

The room-temperature ductility of magnesium(Mg)alloys is fundamentally limited by preferential basal slip activation—a challenge directly addressable through strategic grain orientation tailoring.In this study,gradient compressive strain paths are utilized through a 25°inclined die to tailor the crystallographic textures of AZ31 sheets.Precisely controlled deformation induces a triaxial stress state that rotates basal-oriented grains into gradient{10–12}twin-dominated configurations,while concurrently generating gradient geometrically necessary dislocations(GNDs).This microstructural duality synergistically activates pyramidal c+a slip systems,demonstrated by Schmid factor(SF)elevation from 0.12 to 0.38,and triggers the hetero-deformation-induced(HDI)strengthening mechanism.The engineered sheets achieve 422 MPa ultimate tensile strength(UTS)with 32.7%elongation(EL),representing 13%and 76%enhancements over conventional counterparts.Twin-mediated strain delocalization enables uniform thickness deformation,culminating in a record 7.7 mm limiting dome height at room temperature.These results indicate that grain orientation design is a critical pathway to transcend magnesium’s intrinsic deformation constraints. 展开更多
