Methods: 80 elderly patients with reflux esophagitis from January 2019 to January 2020 in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups by numerical table method. The control group was given routine nursing while the holistic nursing group was given holistic nursing. The quality of life, self-management ability and recurrence rate before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results: the quality of life of the holistic nursing group was higher than that of the control group, the ability of self-management was higher than that of the control group, and the recurrence rate of reflux esophagitis was lower than that of the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: the implementation of holistic nursing for elderly patients with reflux esophagitis is effective, which can improve patients' self-management ability and patients' quality of life, and is worthy of promotion.展开更多
