This report details the CT and MR imaging findings of a primary orbital Ewing's sarcoma case involving the middle cranial fossa in a 13-year old boy. CT showed an ill-circumscribed homogeneous soft-tissue density mass with needle-like bone reaction. On MRI, the mass showed homogeneous iso-intensity on T1WI, heterogeneous hyper- intensity on T2WI, and marked homogeneous enhancement. Meanwhile, the mass was hyper-intense on DWI, and ADC alue was 575x10-6 mm2/s. The mass showed as high rCBV and rCBF, prolonged MTT based on DCS- PWI, and wash-out pattern of TIC derived from the DCE-MRI. Our case suggests that functional MRI modalities, including DWI, DSC-PWI or DCE-MR, could provide additional information for differential diagnoses. Both CT and MRI should be performed and comprehensively analyzed for limiting differential diagnoses, determining lesion extension and facilitating operative approach. 展开更多

Methods: One hundred and two elderly patients with tuberculosis were studied in this paper. All patients had an examination on chest X-ray, and 63 of them had a chest scan of CT. Results: The pulmonary tuberculosis infiltration, caseous pneumonia and cavitary lesions were found in 85, 11 and 19 cases with GPTB respectively. Acute miliary tuberculosis was diagnosed in 2 cases. Pleural effusion was in 26 cases. In addition, Hilar and mediastinal lymphadenopathy was presented in the other 13 cases. Conclusion: Radiological findings of GPTB were atypical in general. 展开更多

Photothermal and photodynamic therapies(PTT/PDT)hold promise for localized tumor treatment, yet their full potential is hampered by limitations such as the hypoxic tumor microenvironment and inadequate systemic immune activation.Addressing these challenges,we present a novel near-infrared(NIR)-triggered RNS nanoreactor(PBNO-Ce6)to amplify the photodynamic and photothermal therapy efficacy against triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).The designed PBNOCe6 combines sodium nitroprusside-doped Prussian Blue nanoparticles with Chlorin e6 to enable on-site RNS production through NIR-induced concurrent NO release and ROS generation. This not only enhances tumor cell eradication but also potentiates local and systemic antitumor immune responses, protecting mice from tumor rechallenge. Our in vivo evaluations revealed that treatment with PBNO-Ce6 leads to a remarkable 2.7-fold increase in cytotoxic T lymphocytes and a 62%decrease in regulatory T cells in comparison to the control PB-Ce6(Prussian Blue nanoparticles loaded with Chlorin e6),marking a substantial improvement over traditional PTT/PDT.As such, the PBNO-Ce6 nanoreactor represents a transformative approach for improving outcomes in TNBC and potentially other malignancies affected by similar barriers. 展开更多
