Mild deficit irrigation delays flag leaf senescence and increases yield in drip-irrigated spring wheat by regulating endogenous hormones

Drought is one of the important stress factors affecting the growth and development processes of wheat in China's arid zones, which severely limits the yield. This study examined the impact of deficit irrigation on the flag leaf protection system and yield of drip-irrigated spring wheat during the growth stages in arid zones. In addition, this study aimed to determine the optimal water supply mode for efficient production under drip irrigation conditions and to provide technical support for water-saving and high-yield cultivation of drip-irrigated wheat. The experiment was conducted with a split plot design using the water-sensitive variety Xinchun 22(XC22) and the drought-tolerant variety Xinchun 6(XC6) as the main plots, while a fully irrigated control(CK, 75–80% FC, where FC is field water holding capacity), mild deficit(T1, 60–65% FC) and moderate deficit(T2, 45–50% FC) at the tillering stage, and mild deficit(J1, 60–65% FC) and moderate deficit(J2, 45–50% FC) at the jointing stage were used as the subplots. Systematic studies were conducted on the regulatory effects of deficit irrigation during the tillering and jointing stages on protective substances, membrane lipid metabolism, endogenous hormones in the flag leaf, and yield of spring wheat. Compared with treatments T2 and J2, treatments T1 and J1 were beneficial for increasing the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD), peroxidase(POD), and catalase(CAT), the levels of proline(Pro), indole-3-acetic acid(IAA), and zeatin riboside(ZR), and the ratios IAA/abscisic acid(ABA), ZR/ABA, IAA/ZR, and(IAA+ZR)/ABA, while reducing the levels of hydrogen peroxide(H2O2), superoxide anion radicals(O2–·), malondialdehyde(MDA), phosphatidic acid(PA), free fatty acids(FFA), ABA, phospholipase D(PLD), and lipoxygenase(LOX), alleviating flag leaf senescence, and increasing yield. Under treatment T1, the SOD, POD, CAT, and Pro levels of flag leaves in XC6 were 11.14, 8.08, 12.98, and 3.66% higher than those of treatment CK, and under treatment J1, they were 6.43, 4.49, 7.36, and 2.50% higher than those of treatment CK. Under treatment T1 in XC6, the IAA, ZR level of the flag leaf, spike number, grains per spike, 1,000-grain weight and yield were 10.50, 5.79, 3.10, 8.84, 3.78, and 10.52% higher than those of treatment CK, and under treatment J1, they were 5.36, 3.94, 2.40, 3.72, 1.37, and 4.46% higher than those of treatment CK. Compared with XC22, XC6 was more conducive to the improvement of flag leaf protective substances, IAA, ZR, dry matter weight, yield components and yield. The correlation analysis showed significant positive correlations between IAA and ZR with SOD, POD, CAT, proline, and yield. IAA and ZR promoted the enhancement of protective enzyme activities, thereby clearing reactive oxygen species to cope with the oxidative stress caused by drought and achieve the effect of delaying senescence. Principal component analysis showed that yield components and dry matter weight, had direct effects on yield. Mild deficiency during the tillering stage without water stress in other stages could effectively optimize yield components, not only achieving high yield while increasing protective substances, but also reducing the reactive oxygen species content. This strategy can be recommended as a water-saving and high-yield production mode for drip irrigation of spring wheat in Xinjiang, China. 展开更多

The cytoskeleton consists of microtubule (MT), microfilament (MF), and intermediate filament (IF). MT and MF are vital components of plant cytoskeleton. Crosslinking factor acts as a bridge between MF and MT. They play an important role in cellular life process and have always been a hot topic and key point in plant cytobiology, and the IF is a difficult point in this field. In this paper, the latest research on the cytoskeleton of plants is introduced, which focuses on the structure and dynamics of MT, MF, and IF, and summarizes the crosslinking factors between MT and MF. Also, the paper prospects the future research direction of plant cytoskeleton and the possible research hotspot, which provides a certain reference for people to continue to explore the function of plant cytoskeleton in the future. 展开更多

The poor thermal stability and high sensitivity severely hinder the practical application of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane(CL-20).Herein,a kind of novel core@double-shell CL-20 based energetic composites were fabricated to address the above issues.The coordination complexes which consist of natural polyphenol tannic acid(TA) and Fe~Ⅲ were chosen to construct the inner shell,while the graphene sheets were used to build the outer shell.The resulting CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites exhibited simultaneously improved thermal stability and safety performance with only 1 wt% double-shell content,which should be ascribed to the intense physical encapsulation effect from inner shell combined with the desensitization effect of carbon nano-materials from outer shell.The phase transition(ε to γ) temperature increased from 173.70 ℃ of pure CL-20 to 191.87℃ of CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites.Meanwhile,the characteristic drop height(H_(50)) dramatically increased from 14.7 cm of pure CL-20 to112.8 cm of CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites,indicating much superior safety performance after the construction of the double-shell structure.In general,this work has provided an effective and versatile strategy to conquer the thermal stability and safety issues of CL-20 and contributes to the future application of high energy density energetic materials. 展开更多

UV-B辐射对植物的影响体现在多个水平,其会引起植物DNA损伤,造成有丝分裂异常,最终影响植物的生长发育及生理生化过程。RAD21.3是黏连蛋白复合物的一个亚基,参与有丝分裂中染色体的分离。该研究以哥伦比亚生态型拟南芥(Arabidopsis thaliana)和atrad21.3突变体为材料,设置对照(CK)及UV-B处理组,对野生型(WT)、atrad21.3及过表达株系的根长、株高、抽薹时间和生理生化指标进行统计分析。利用碱性品红染色观察拟南芥根尖的有丝分裂现象,并统计畸变率。SPSS分析结果表明,UV-B处理后,WT UV-B和atrad21.3 CK的抽薹时间、株高及各项生理生化指标与WT CK相比无显著差异,但atrad21.3UV-B与之相比差异显著。通过烟草(Nicotianabenthamiana)的瞬时表达和亚细胞定位观察,发现RAD21.3集中在细胞核;进一步观察分裂期细胞发现落后染色体、染色体桥和游离染色体等异常现象。统计结果表明,与WT CK相比,WT UV-B和atrad21.3 CK的畸变率较高,但atrad21.3 UV-B的畸变率更高,表明RAD21.3可能响应UV-B辐射诱导的异常有丝分裂。 展开更多

Objective: Application analysis of cardiac rehabilitation in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods: A total of 102 patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were retrospectively selected as the observation objects. According to the nursing measures taken, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 51 cases in each group. A total of 51 patients in the control group received routine nursing, while 51 patients in the observation group were guided to actively participate in the cardiac rehabilitation nursing plan. The hospitalization conditions and effects of the two groups were compared. Results: The cardiac function index, bed time, hospitalization time, anxiety score and depression score of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P Conclusion: The application of cardiac rehabilitation nursing in patients with acute myocardial infarction has a good effect. The patients’ cardiac function recovers faster, they feel more comfortable, and they also reduce the time of hospitalization and bed rest, which is conducive to improving the psychological and anxiety state of patients and improving the quality of life. 展开更多

High light-harvesting efficiency and low interfacial charge transfer loss are essential for the fabrication of high-efficiency quantum dot-based solar cells(QDSCs). Increasing the thickness of mesoporous TiO2films can improve the loading of pre-synthesized QDs on the film and enhance the absorbance of photoanode, but commonly accompanied by the increase in the unfavorable charge recombination due to prolonged electron transmission paths. Herein, we systematically studied the influence of the balance between QD loading and TiO2film thickness on the performance of QDSCs. It is found that the relative thin photoanode prepared by the cationic surfactant-assisted multiple deposition procedure has achieved a high QD loading which is comparable to that of the thick photoanode commonly used. Under AM 1.5G illumination, Zn–Cu–In–Se and Zn–Cu–In–S based QDSCs with optimized 11.8 μm photoanodes show the PCE of 10.03% and 8.53%, respectively, which are comparable to the corresponding highest PCE of Zn–Cu–In–Se and Zn–Cu–In–S QDSCs(9.74% and 8.75%) with over 25.0 μm photoanodes. Similarly, an impressive PCE of 6.14% was obtained for the CdSe based QDSCs with a 4.1 μm photoanode, which is slightly lower than the best PCE(7.05%)of reference CdSe QDSCs with 18.1 μm photoanode. 展开更多

A new surface ion-imprinted Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MCNTs), which was 6,6'-((1E,1'E)-(pyridine-2,6-diyl- bis(azanylyl))bis(methanylylidene))bis(2-allyl-phenol) and Pb(II) complex as functional monomer and template ion was presented for extracting and enrichment traces of Pb(II) ion. Parameters affecting the recovery of Pb(II) have been investigated in detail. The novel IMCNTs display high affinity, specificity, and selectivity for Pb(II) with a maximum uptake capacity of 115.5 mg·g–1 at pH 4.0. Meanwhile, only 11 mins was enough for extracting 98.5% Pb(II) for the IMCNTs. No significant loss in adsorption capacity is observed when the IMCNTs are reused for eleven times. Separation and preconcentration with IMCNTs particles results in a limit of detection of 0.47 μg·L–1 (3σ) and RSD (n = 8) of 1.16% by using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) 展开更多

In this paper,a mathematical ordinary differential tumor-immune model is proposed based on an immune checkpoint inhibitor,which is an innovative method for tumor immunotherapies.Two important factors in tumor-immune response are the programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)and its ligand PD-L1.The model consists of three populations:tumor cells,activated T cells and anti-PD-1.By analyzing the dynamics of the model,it is found that there is always a unique tumor-free equilibrium and at most two tumor interior equilibria.The nonexistence of nontrivial positive periodic orbits is established by using the new Dulac function,and then a global dynamics of the model is obtained.The conclusions of our analysis show that increasing the possibility of T cells killing tumor cells(p),early detection of tumor cells,or the use of PD-1 inhibitors to activate T cells are effective in eliminating tumor cells. 展开更多

Colloidal all-inorganic perovskite nanocrystals(PNCs),possessing unique optical properties,have attracted considerable attention in the field of semiconductor nanocrystals(NCs),but their application is hindered by the stability issue resulting partly from dynamic capping ligand binding.Herein,we report a simple method for the synthesis of all-inorganic cesium lead-based(CsPbX3)NCs with enhanced structural stability and photoluminescence quantum yield.Aluminum distearate(AlDS)was introduced into the preparation of CsPbX3 NCs,on the basis that the surface defects of CsPbX3 NCs are passivated to form a protective layer on the CsPbX3 NC surface simultaneously.Benefiting from surface modification,the resistance of the CsPbX3 NC dispersion against ethanol,ultraviolet irradiation,and heat treatment was enhanced effectively.Moreover,the photoluminescence intensity and stability of the AlDS–modified NC-based films displayed functional superiority to those of pristine NC-based films. 展开更多
