DAC CO_(2)capture is gaining wide attention as one of the most difficult carbon approaches to tackle climate change.In this work,different pore-size silica spheres were grafted using different amine groups such as APT...DAC CO_(2)capture is gaining wide attention as one of the most difficult carbon approaches to tackle climate change.In this work,different pore-size silica spheres were grafted using different amine groups such as APTES,APTMS,and Diamine.Herein,all samples based on the wet and dry grafting method were used for CO_(2)adsorption isotherm at room temperature and pressure(298 K and 1 bar).The sample based on the wet grafting(Silica-APTES-W)sample shows the highest CO_(2)uptake 1.67 mmol/g.Also,the adsorption isotherm of the Silica-APTES-W sample was showed a high capacity of CO_(2)1.2 mmol/g at 25℃,which describes the strong physical interaction between CO_(2)and amine.The isosteric adsorption of Silica-APTES-W also confirmed that the physical adsorption was dominant because of low adsorption heat ranging from 23 to 37 k J/mol.Also,the fixed bed experiment was conducted with 2000 ppm CO_(2)that obtains the optimal working capacity 4.5 m L/g with the lowest regeneration temperature 90℃.It was shown that Silica-APTES-W sample was superior performance for DAC CO_(2)capture in practical applications.展开更多

In order to promote the transformation and high-quality development of strawberry industry and speed up the application of functional microbial products in strawberry,the application technology of functional microbial...In order to promote the transformation and high-quality development of strawberry industry and speed up the application of functional microbial products in strawberry,the application technology of functional microbial products in strawberry planting is studied and summarized.It mainly includes:the periods and methods of continuous cropping strawberry soil reduction and disinfection at high temperature,before and after strawberry planting,before plastic film mulching and whole process of plant spraying.Through multi-point test and demonstration,the purpose of advancing the season of strawberries,improving the quality,increasing production and increasing efficiency is achieved,and there is no risk of agricultural residue pollution,which meets the needs of people's consumption upgrading.Therefore,the application of functional microbial products in green ecological planting is very necessary,and it is worth further speeding up the demonstration and promotion.展开更多

Bacterial biofilm infection is a complicated and important global problem.Non-toxic biomass-based Pickering emulsions as an essential oil delivery system are a potentially effective means in biofilm treatment.Herein,t...Bacterial biofilm infection is a complicated and important global problem.Non-toxic biomass-based Pickering emulsions as an essential oil delivery system are a potentially effective means in biofilm treatment.Herein,the chitosan/gelatin complex nanoparticles(CGNPs)stabilized Pickering(CGP)emulsion loaded with cinnamon essential oil(CEO)was developed to inhibit and remove bacterial biofilms.CGNPs were initially successfully prepared with a particle size of 253.7 nm.Subsequently,CGP emulsions were prepared using CGNPs as the emulsifier and CEO as the oil phase,with the aqueous phase pH value of 5.5 and ionic strength of 50 mM.Amino groups of CGNPs were crosslinked with the aldehyde group of CEO via Schiff base reaction at the oil-water interface to form a denser core-shell structure,thus improving the stability of Pickering emulsion.The CGP emulsions exhibit controlled and long-term sustained release properties in essential oil delivery,with 89.8%,81.0%,and 62.2%CEO release within 168 h for CGP-0.1,CGP-0.2,and CGP-0.3,respectively.Moreover,CGP emulsions have stronger antioxidant activities(nearly 100%),broad-spectrum antibacterial activities(>90%),enhanced penetration and removal capabilities against preformed biofilms than single CEO or CGNPs,as well as its better biocompatibility than conventional surfactant-stabilized emulsions.Hence,CEO-delivered CGP emulsion could serve as a potential strategy against biofilm infections and bacterial resistance.展开更多
