The mechanism of destruction of sodium cyanide with or without ferric oxide addition under various conditions was examined by XRD, DSC-TG, and chemical analysis technologies. In the absence of ferric oxide, sodium cyanide decomposes at 587.4 ℃ in air and 879.2 ℃ in argon atmosphere. In the presence of ferric oxide, about 60% of sodium cyanide decomposes at 350 ℃ for 30 min in argon, while almost all sodium cyanide decomposes within 30 min in air or O2 with mass ratio of ferric oxide to sodium cyanide of 1:1. The increase of ferric oxide addition, temperature, and heating time facilitates the destruction of sodium cyanide. It is believed that with ferric oxide addition, NaCN reacts with Fe2O3 to form Na4Fe(CN)6, Na2CO3, NaNO2 and Fe3O4 in argon. NaCN decomposes into NaCNO, Na4Fe(CN)6, minor NaNO2, and the formed NaCNO and Na4Fe(CN)6 further decompose into Na2CO3, CO2, N2, FeOx, and minor NOx in air or O2.展开更多

Stable and suitable water quality and abundant cooling water are the basis for long service life of the hearth. Some phenomena about cooling system in the commercial blast furnaces were described, and reasonable explanations of these phenomena were analyzed. The results show that increasing the amount of cooling water and reducing the inlet temperature of cooling water can increase the cooling effect significantly in the case of water scaling. Heat flux in the blast furnace hearth is the average heat flux of cooling stave, and the erosion of carbon brick is uneven. There is no direct connection between the actual erosion condition and the heat flux in the hearth. The change trend of thermocouple temperature and heat flux in the hearth can reflect whether the gaps exist among the bricks or not, providing an effective guidance for industrial production and the evaluation of safety state in the hearth. And, the film boiling will not occur in the normal cooling system in the blast furnace hearth.展开更多

The alkaline treatment and bromine addition reaction were used to anchor ATRP initiators on membrane surface. Then PDMAEMA was grafted from the membrane surface via SI-ATRP. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed the chemical composition and surface topography of the PVDF-g-PDMAEMA membrane surfaces. These results showed that PDMAEMA was grafted from the membrane surface successfully and a grafting yield as high as 1500 ~g/cm2 was achieved. The effects of the grafting time and the density of initiators on the static and dynamic binding capacity of bovine serum albumin (BSA) were systematically investigated. Both the static and dynamic binding capacities increase with the bromination and polymerization time. However, the benefits of the initiator density on binding capacities are limited by the graft density of PDMAEMA chains.展开更多

The PEComas, composed of epithelioid and spindle cells, have the same cellular and immtmohistocherrtical features but are found in different visceral and soft tissue sites. Here, we report the histological and immunohistochemical features of one case of PEComa restricted in the pelvic visceral peritoneum of a male patient. Several classes of plant hormones including jasmonic acid (JA) have been shown to be involved in regulating the expression of iron uptake and/or deficiency-responsive genes in plants. However, the molecular mechanisms by which JA regulates iron uptake remain unclear. In this study, we found that JA negatively modulates iron uptake by downregulating the expression of FIT (bHLH29), bHLH38, bHLH39, bHLHIO0, and bHLHI01 and promoting the degradation of FIT protein, a key regulator of iron uptake in Arabidopsis. We further demonstrated that the subgroup IVa bHLH proteins, bHLH18, bHLH19, bHLH20, and bHLH25, are novel interactors of FIT, which promote JA-induced FIT protein degradation. These four IVa bHLHs function redundantly to antagonize the activity of the Ib bHLHs (such as bHLH38) in regulating FIT protein stability under iron deficiency. The four IVa bHLH genes are primarily expressed in roots, and are inducible by JA treatment. Moreover, we found that MYC2 and JAR1, two critical components of the JA signaling pathway, play critical roles in mediating JA suppression of the expression of FIT and Ib bHLH genes, whereas they differentially modulate the expression of bHLH18, bHLH19, bHLH20, and bHLH25 to regulate FIT accumulation under iron deficiency. Taken together, these results indicate that by transcriptionally regulating the expression of different sets of bHLH genes JA signaling promotes FIT degradation, resulting in reduced expression of iron-uptake genes, IRT1 and FRO2, and increased sensitivity to iron deficiency. Our data suggest that there is a multilayered inhibition of iron-deficiency response in the presence JA in Arabidopsis.展开更多

We first present the geometry between the unmanned aircraft(UA) and the target to obtain the convergent solution of standoff tracking when the speed ratio of the UA to the target is larger than one. Then, the convergent solution is used to guide the UA onto the standoff tracking geometry. We propose an improved guidance law by adding a derivative term to the relevant algorithm. To keep the phase angle difference of multiple UAs, we add a second derivative term to the relevant control law. Simulations are done to demonstrate the feasibility and performance of the proposed approach. The proposed algorithm can achieve coordinated control of multiple UAs with its simplicity and stability in terms of the standoff distance and phase angle difference.展开更多
