The model is built on a Cartesian grid system with the Navier Stokes equations using a CIP method for the flow solver, and employs an immersed boundary method (IBM) for the treatment of solid body boundary. A more accurate interface capturing scheme, the Tangent of hyperbola for interface capturing/Slope weighting (THINC/SW) scheme, is adopted as the interface capturing method. Then, the CIP-based model is applied to simulate the dam break flow problem in a bumpy channel. Considerable attention is paid to the spilling type reflected bore, the following spilling type wave breaking, free surface profiles and water level variations over time. Computations are compared with available experimental data and other numerical results quantitatively and qualitatively. Further investigation is conducted to analyze the influence of variable slopes on the flow features of the tsunami-like bore.展开更多
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate changes in nutritional status and related indexes in patients with Nutritional Risk Score(NRS)≥3 gastric cancer after nutritional support treatment.Methods A total o...Objective The aim of this study was to investigate changes in nutritional status and related indexes in patients with Nutritional Risk Score(NRS)≥3 gastric cancer after nutritional support treatment.Methods A total of 50 patients with gastric cancer were divided into two groups according to the different nutritional support treatment they received during postoperative chemotherapy:immune-enhanced enteral nutrition group(n=25)and conventional enteral nutrition group(n=25).Changes in patient’body mass index(BMI),hemoglobin(HB),serum total protein(TP),serum albumin(ALB),and immune indexes(CD3+,CD4+/CD8+,CD3+/CD8+)were monitored before and after chemotherapy.At the same time,the incidence and classification of gastrointestinal adverse reactions after chemotherapy were assessed.Results Compared with the conventional enteral nutrition group,the nutritional and immune indexes in the immune-enhanced enteral nutrition group were significantly improved.After chemotherapy,the incidence of adverse reactions in the digestive tract was relatively lower and the grade was reduced.Conclusion Immune-enhanced enteral nutrition support can significantly improve the nutritional status of patients,improve immune function,increase the susceptibility of cancer patients to chemotherapy,reduce toxicity and adverse effects,and improve the quality of life of tumor patients compared with conventional enteral nutrition support.展开更多

Methods: Sixty untreated patients w...Objective:To evaluate the ef icacy of autologous cytokine-induced kil er (CIK) cells transfusion combined with chemotherapy in patients suf ered from advanced colorectal cancer. Methods: Sixty untreated patients with advanced colorectal cancer were randomly divided into two groups. The 30 patients in the control group received chemotherapy with the regimen of xeloda plus oxiplatin (XELOX). The 30 patients in the trial group were treated with chemotherapy (XELOX) in combination with autologous CIK celltransfusion. T-lymphocyte subgroups were separated and measured by flow cytometry quality of life (QOL) was determined by EORTC QLQ-C30. The short-term curative ef ect was evaluated via imaging examina-tions. The patients’ median progression free survival time was estimated by Kaplan-Meier. Results:The T-lymphocyte im-mune activity was improved in patients received autologous CIK celltransfusion than those treated with chemotherapy alone. The subgroup of CD3+CD56+T lymphocyte was significantly increased (4.28 ± 0.45 vs 10.14 ± 1.02, P=0.01). Short-term ef icacy evaluation revealed that there was no significant dif erence in terms of objective response rate (ORR) between the two groups, but the disease control rate (DCR) was markedly increased (86.7%vs 56.7%, P=0.020) in the group treated by chemotherapy plus CIK cells compared to the group treated with chemotherapy alone. The progression free survival time was 8.64 months ( 95%CI 6.25-9.75 months) in control group and 10.15 months ( 95%CI 7.48-12.52 months) in trial group. Compared to patients in control group, the patients in trial group had significantly longer progression-free survival (P=0.046). The QOL assessment suggested the QOL in trial group was obviously improved than that in the control group. Compared with the control group, patients treated with autologous CIK celltransfusion scored more in the area of physical function and general health status, while the symptomatic scores in terms of pain, fatigue, nausea and vomiting and diarrhea were significantly reduced. Conclusion:Autologous CIK celltransfusion combined with chemotherapy can ef ectively enhance the immune activity of T-lymphocytes, prevent disease progression and improve the progression-free survival and QOL in patients with advanced colorectal cancer.展开更多
中国植物资源丰富,长期以来被外国人所关注和研究。直到1916年,中国植物分类学者才开始独立研究本国植物,并经历了从民国时期开始自立、到1949年后自主完成《中国高等植物图鉴》《中国植物志》等国家级和相对完整的地方植物志以及中外...中国植物资源丰富,长期以来被外国人所关注和研究。直到1916年,中国植物分类学者才开始独立研究本国植物,并经历了从民国时期开始自立、到1949年后自主完成《中国高等植物图鉴》《中国植物志》等国家级和相对完整的地方植物志以及中外合作完成英文版的国家植物志Flora of China、再到21世纪新一代学者每年更新《中国生物物种名录》并且开始主导国际性植物分类学研究工作等3个主要时期。统计表明,超过3,000位中国学者参与过植物命名或植物名称处理等命名相关工作,近些年更是达到每年新增100人左右的新高。但这种繁荣局面与中国植物分类学的衰退状况彼此矛盾。为了解释这个矛盾,结合对历史回顾的深入分析说明,真正能够反映分类学发展程度的量化指标应当是“活跃”分类学者数目。这个数目在21世纪停滞不前,表明当今的分类学人才队伍建设仍存在不少问题,特别是新分类群的发表与系统学研究脱节,对分子系统学证据的应用仍有不足,以及科研评价体系偏重于论文影响因子等。本文因此提出了当今分类学者应该具备的6条技能标准:(1)具有科学精神和全球视野;(2)掌握学科内知识;(3)掌握学科外知识;(4)具备野外工作技能;(5)具备标本馆和实验室工作技能;(6)掌握文献和数据库检索技能。展开更多
Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic impact of citicoline sodium capsules on patients with traumatic brain injury(TBI)and its safety.Methods:This study is a multicenter,single-arm,prospective,observat...Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic impact of citicoline sodium capsules on patients with traumatic brain injury(TBI)and its safety.Methods:This study is a multicenter,single-arm,prospective,observational study of brain trauma patients who met the inclusion criteria between March 2023 and June 2024 and who could be treated with citicoline sodium capsules after being evaluated by the investigator.The Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)and Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),the incidence of adverse drug reactions/adverse events during treatment,and the abnormalities of safety tests with clinical evaluation significance were observed at 1 month and 2 months after treatment.Results:A total of 2806 patients,63.1%of whom were male,with an average age of 58.85 years old.The GCS and MMSE scores of the patients at 1 month and 2 months after treatment were significantly improved and were statistically significant,indicating that citicoline sodium had a significant effect on improving the state of consciousness and cognitive function of patients with TBI.Only 8 adverse reactions were reported in the study,all of which were mild gastrointestinal reactions and anaphylaxis,and did not lead to treatment interruption or serious consequences.Conclusion:Citicoline sodium has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with TBI and has good safety.展开更多
In a few-mode erbium-doped fiber(FM-EDF),which is a key section in a space-division multiplexing(SDM)communication system,linearly polarized(LP)and orbital angular momentum(OAM)modes,as twomode bases with different ph...In a few-mode erbium-doped fiber(FM-EDF),which is a key section in a space-division multiplexing(SDM)communication system,linearly polarized(LP)and orbital angular momentum(OAM)modes,as twomode bases with different phase profiles,can be transformed into each other.In principle,the LP and OAM modes have a different mode spatial intensity distribution and a gain difference for FM-EDF amplifiers.How to analyze and characterize the differential mode-bases gain(DMBG)is important,but still an issue.We build,for the first time to our knowledge,a local analysis model composed of discrete elements of the FM-EDF cross section in areas of mode spatial intensity distribution azimuthal variation.Using the model of the two mode bases,analysis of local particle number distribution and detailed description of the local gain difference are realized,and the overall gain difference between the two mode bases is obtained.By building an amplifier system based on mode phase profile controlling,the gain of two mode bases is characterized experimentally.The measured DMBG is∼0.8 dB in the second-order mode,which is consistent with the simulation result.This result provides a potential way to reduce the mode gain difference in the FM-EDF,which is important in improving the performance of the SDM communication system.展开更多
