Depleting fossil energy sources and conventional polluting power generation pose a threat to sustainable development.Hydroelectricity generation from ubiquitous and spontaneous phase transitions between liquid and gaseous water has been considered a promising strategy for mitigating the energy crisis.Fibrous materials with unique flexibility,processability,multifunctionality,and practicability have been widely applied for fibrous materials-based hydroelectricity generation(FHG).In this review,the power generation mechanisms,design principles,and electricity enhancement factors of FHG are first introduced.Then,the fabrication strategies and characteristics of varied constructions including 1D fiber,1D yarn,2D fabric,2D membrane,3D fibrous framework,and 3D fibrous gel are demonstrated.Afterward,the advanced functions of FHG during water harvesting,proton dissociation,ion separation,and charge accumulation processes are analyzed in detail.Moreover,the potential applications including power supply,energy storage,electrical sensor,and information expression are also discussed.Finally,some existing challenges are considered and prospects for future development are sincerely proposed. 展开更多

Here we present zircon U–Pb–Hf and wholerock major and trace element studies of eastern Ningzhen W-Mo-ore-related magmatic rocks,Yushan and Longwangshan granitic rocks,to constrain their form timing,magma sources,and tectonic settings.The results showed that the two plutons were formed in the Early Cretaceous with;Pb/;U ages of 107.8±1.2 and 105.2±1.5 Ma(;Pb/;U),respectively.The trapped/residual zircons are mainly distributed in 2.0–2.5 Ga.The two intrusions are characterized by high silicon(68.60–73.99%),high aluminum(13.56–15.02%),high Mg#(47–55),high Sr,Sr/Y,LaN/YN,and low Yb,falling into high Mg#adakitic rock region.The zirconεHf(t)values of the two intrusions range from-24.8 to-13.2,indicating an ancient continental crust in their magma sources.The average Ti-inzircon temperature is 689°C,slightly higher than those of other high-Mg adakitic rocks in the lower Yangtze River belt,but lower than those of high-Mg adakitic rocks in the Southern Tanlu Fault(STLF).Zircon Ce;/Ce;show low oxygen fugacity(LWS-1:3–400,average 92;sample ZYS-4:9–382,average 93).These geochemical features indicate a thickened lower continental crust in the Eastern Ningzhen region in a subduction setting.Comparing the geochemical characteristics of the eastern Ningzhen to the western Ningzhen and other areas in the Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt(LYRMB)and the high-Mg ore-barren adakitic rocks of the STLF,we propose that the magmatic rocks from eastern Ningzhen may be mainly from a thickened lower continental crust that hybridized with a very small part of mantle sources,while the west Ningzhen magmatic rocks may have experienced a higher degree of mantle contaminations in their source.The metallogenic differences between the eastern(W–Mo)and western(Cu–Fe–Pb–Zn)parts of Ningzhen also indicate different proportions of crustal materials in their magma source. 展开更多

Based on teleseismic data obtained from 225 stations from two networks in the central Tibetan plateau, we have generated detailed crustal structure images using P-wave receiver function techniques with more accurate piercing-depth-correction and time-depth-correction than what have previously been available. Our images indicate an undulatory Moho beneath the Tibetan plateau with a steep jump beneath the northern Himalaya, and obviously different structures in proximity to the Bangong-Nujiang suture. In several sections of the Tibetan plateau, the lower crust is characterized by pervasive high-velocity regions, which are consistent with the preservation of eclogite bodies beneath the plateau, whose presence affects the dynamics of the Tibetan plateau. 展开更多

Chemical resistant textiles are vital for safeguarding humans against chemical hazards in various settings.such as industrialproduction,chemicalaccidents,laboratory activities,and road transportation.However,the ideal integration of chemical resistance,thermal and moisture management,and wearer condition monitoring in conventional chemically protective textiles remains challenging.Herein,the design,manufacturing,and use of stretchable hierarchical core-shell yarns(HCSYs)for integrated chemical resistance,moisture regulation,and smart sensing textiles are demonstrated.These yarns con-tain helically elastic spandex,wrapped silver-plated nylon,and surface-structuredpolytetrafluo-roethylene(PTFE)yarns and are designed and manufactured based on a scalable fabrication process.In addition to their ideal chemical resistance performance,HCSYs can function as multifunctional stretch-able electronics for real-time human motion monitoring and as the basic element of intelligent textiles.Furthermore,a desirable dynamic thermoregulation function is achieved by exploiting the fabric structure with stretching modulation.Our HCSYs may provide prospective opportunities for the future development of smart protective textiles with high durability,flexibility,and scalability. 展开更多

In situ U-Pb dating of carbonates is very common in the fields of mining and petroleum geology.However,carbonate minerals generally have low U,high common Pb,multiple generations,and uneven elemental distribution,often resulting in relatively low dating precision.Hence,the success rate in U-Pb dating of carbonates by the traditional spot analysis method is generally low.This paper,through combining a mapping method for U-Pb dating with a proprietary visualization and analysis software,ChronoVA,conducted a comparison of the data obtained by both the spot analysis and the mapping method for 3carbonate standards and 2 unknown natural geological samples.We successfully developed a U-Pb dating method for carbonate rocks via LA-SF-ICP-MS elemental mapping and discussed the advantages and limitations of this method.Results show that in comparison with the traditional spot analysis method,the mapping approach has the following advantages:(1)reducing the downhole fractionation effect;(2)simplifying the analytical processes;(3)the elemental imaging data can help to identify multigeneration and mineral inclusions,ensuring the obtained carbonate U-Pb age having an interpretable geological meaning;(4)a large amount of mapping data can significantly improve the accuracy of the dating results.Despite these advantages,in carbonate samples with extremely high common Pb content and high Pb/U ratio,it might be difficult to obtain reliable ages even via the mapping method.In addition,it was understood that the carbonate standard WC-1,which is the most commonly used at present,could be inhomogeneous,and on occasion does not satisfy the SK model in spot analysis. 展开更多

The scarcity of fresh water resources has become a serious issue hindering the sustainable development of modern civilization.The interfacial solar steam generation(ISSG)system that produces heat on material surface through photothermal conversion for desalination has been demonstrated as a promising candidate for practical application.Fibrous materials with unique flexibility,durability,processability,practicability,and multifunctionality have attracted considerable attention in the ISSG field.In this review,the basics of fibrous materials,such as their classification,manufacturing methods and flexible fibrous structure,are firstly introduced.Afterward,the outstanding properties of fibrous materials on different dimensions are demonstrated,as well as the versatile morphologies and structures that allow fibrous materials to carry out different roles in ISSG.Moreover,the practicability and multifunctionality of fibrous materials are illustrated in detail by combining specific cases to show their promising potential in practical ISSG application.Finally,existing challenges and future opportunities of fibrous material-based ISSG systems are discussed. 展开更多
