Limited by the small index contrast of conventional vertical epitaxy, light confinement in the vertical direction is often achieved via undercutting sacrificial layers or transferring onto foreign low-index substrates. Susceptibility Mapping of Ground Collapse Caused by Anthropogenic Activities

With the rapid urbanization process,ground collapses caused by anthropogenic activities occur frequently.Accurate susceptibility mapping is of great significance for disaster prevention and control.In this study,1198 ground collapse cases in Shenzhen from 2017 to 2020 were collected.Eight effective factors(elevation,relief,clay proportion,average annual precipitation,distance from water,land use type,building density,and road density)were selected to construct the evaluation index system.Ground collapse susceptibility was analyzed and mapped using the normalized frequency ratio(NFR),logistic regression(LR),and NFR-LR coupling models.Finally,the result rationality and performance of the three models were compared through frequency ratio(FR)and ROC curve.The results indicate that all three models can effectively evaluate the ground collapse susceptibility(AUC>0.7),and the NFR-LR model result is more rational and has the best performance(AUC=0.791).The very high and high susceptibility zones cover a total area of 545.68 km^(2) and involve Nanshan,Luohu,and Futian District,as well as some areas of Baoan,Guangming,and Longgang District.The ground collapses in Shenzhen mainly occurred in the built-up areas,and the greater intensity of anthropogenic activities,the more susceptible to the disaster. 展开更多

Application of Gray Metabolic GM (1,1) Model in Prediction of Annual Total Yields of Chinese Aquatic Products

To predict the annual total yields of Chinese aquatic products in future five years ( 2011-2015) ,based on the theory and method of gray system,this paper firstly establishes a conventional GM ( 1,1) model and a gray metabolic GM ( 1,1) model respectively to predict the annual total yields of Chinese aquatic products in 2006-2009 and compare the prediction accuracy between these two models. Then,it selects the model with higher accuracy to predict the annual total yields of Chinese aquatic products in future five years. The comparison indicates that gray metabolic GM ( 1,1) model has higher prediction accuracy and smaller error,thus it is more suitable for prediction of annual total yields of aquatic products. Therefore,it adopts the gray metabolic GM ( 1,1) model to predict annual total yields of Chinese aquatic products in 2011-2015. The prediction results of annual total yields are 55. 32,57. 46,59. 72,62. 02 and 64. 43 million tons respectively in future five years with annual average increase rate of about 3. 7% ,much higher than the objective of 2. 2% specified in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan of the National Fishery Development ( 2011 to 2015) . The results of this research show that the gray metabolic GM ( 1,1) model is suitable for prediction of yields of aquatic products and the total yields of Chinese aquatic products in 2011-2015 will totally be able to realize the objective of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. 展开更多

Donor selection determines the occurrence of acute graft-versus-host-disease(aGVHD)following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT).To optimize the current clinical donor selection criteria and identify putative donor lymphocyte subsets associated with better recipient outcomes,we analyzed the peripheral CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)subsets in 80 granulocyte colonystimulating factor(G-CSF)mobilized donors and examined the aGVHD incidence of the corresponding 80 haploidentical and identical allo-HSCT recipients.The G-CSF-induced expansion of subsets varied among donors.We discovered a novel PD-1^(+)CD8^(+)CD45RA^(+)CCR7^(+)T lymphocyte subset in suitable donors that was significantly correlated with lower incidence of aGVHD and post-transplant anti-infection.The anti-aGVHD activity of this subset was confirmed in a validation cohort(n=30).Single-cell RNA sequencing revealed that this T cell subset exhibited transcriptomic features of stem cell-like memory T cell(TSCM)with both Treg and Teff activities which indicated its dual functions in aGVHD inhibition and graft-versus-leukemia(GVL)effect.Intriguingly,upon G-CSF mobilization,the donor PD-1^(+)CD8^(+)TSCM-like regulatory cells increased the PD-1 expression in a BCL6-dependent manner.Next,we showed that the mouse counterpart of this subset(PD-1^(+)CD8^(+)CD44^(-)CD62L^(+))ameliorated aGVHD,and confirmed the existence of this subset in clinical recipients.In summary,we,for the first time,identified a novel donor peripheral T cell subset suppressing aGVHD while promoting the immune reconstitution of recipients.It may serve as an indicator for optimal haploidentical and identical donor selection.Importantly,the dual Treg and Teff function of these T cells makes it a promising treatment for not only aGVHD but also auto-immune diseases. 展开更多

Traditional fluorescent probes typically display blueshifted emission in rigidifying media;however,a newly developed class of rigidochromic fluorophores derived from phenanthridine demonstrates remarkable redshifted emission under similar conditions.Pyridine,with similar N-heterostructure to those of phenanthridine group,is considered a promising candidate for achieving comparable rigidity-induced redshift behavior.In this work,we synthesized eight organic fluorophores featuring diverse functional units and substitutes by systematically combining pyridine with carbazole,triazatruxene(TAT),and tetraphenylethylene(TPE),respectively.These molecules exhibit significant emission redshifts(up to 225 nm,a record high value ever reported)or notable emission intensity changes as the rigidity of the polymer matrix increases,along with unique acid responsiveness.The differences in polar-πinteractions between fluorophores and polymers diversify the emission behavior,advancing the development of secure printing and intelligent optical materials.By embedding these fluorophores into polymer films with helical phase structures,redshifted emission with tunable chirality was achieved.Notably,leveraging the acid-responsive properties of these fluorophores,a time-dependent light-controlled dynamic encryption system was constructed,successfully enabling multi-level information encryption.This research greatly expands the scope of rigidochromic fluorophores,and their applications in anti-counterfeiting and information storage. 展开更多

Double-Layer Optimization Mechanism for Multi-Area OPF Considering Valve-Point Loading Effect

In terms of the multi-area optimal power flow (OPF) problem, the optimized objectives are always a fuel cost function expressed by a second-order polynomial. However, the valve-point loading effect, whose cost curve is a transcendental function formed by the superposition of the sine and polynomial function, will make the objective function non-convex and non-differentiable. Conventional distributed optimization technologies can hardly make a solution directly. Therefore, it is necessary to realize a distributed solution for multi-area OPF from another point of view. In this paper, we constitute a new double-layer optimization mechanism. The proposed distributed meta-heuristic optimization (DMHO) algorithm is put on the top layer to optimize the dispatching of each area, and in each iteration a distributed power flow calculation method is embedded as the bottom layer to minimize the mismatch of power balance. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach not only implements a multi-area OPF distributed solution but also accelerates the convergence rate, improves the solution accuracy and enhances the robustness. In addition, a fully decentralized computation experiment is performed in an actual distributed environment to test its practicability and computation efficiency. 展开更多

The blunt snout bream(Megalobrama amblycephala)is a major aquaculture species in the Chinese freshwater polyculture system.In this study,complete diallel crossing of three strains(i.e.,Liangzi[LZ],Poyang[PY]and Yuni[YN])was used to evaluate the combining ability and heterosis effect of intraspecific crossbreeding on the growth performance(i.e.,body weight,total length,body length,body height,and Fulton’s coefficient of condition).The offspring produced from the three strains were reared in a communal pond for 20 months,and nine microsatellites were used to assess their pedigree.Of the749 offspring,708(94.53%)could be assigned directly to a single parental pair.Significant differences were observed in body weight(BW)among the different combinations,indicating that the combining ability of BW from each strain was significantly different.The general combining ability(GCA)of BW from the sire was much higher than that from the dam.The GCA for the dam and sire of the LZ and YN were the largest and the smallest,respectively.The special combining ability of YN$9 PY#was the largest,and YN$9 PY#showed significantly positive heterosis effects on all F1growth traits,except for Fulton’s condition coefficient(K)(P\0.05).In addition,significant positive linear correlations were found between the mean BW of corresponding progeny and the H E of the parental generation(y=600.7x-29.472,r=0.8651,P=0.0026),H O(y=1206.9x-518.14,r=0.7436,P=0.0216),and the polymorphism information content(y=1021.3x-331.31,r=0.8245,P=0.0063)as determined by a correlative test.The findings obtained from the study will be important for future considerations of M.amblycephala stock improvement programs. 展开更多

With the population increasing,fish communities,as important components in the river system,were inescapably impacted by human activities.To investigate these impacts,we characterized the fish community’s composition by environmental DNA metabarcoding in the urban and suburban sites along Xiang River in central China.The results showed that 32 species were identified,and most species were from Cypriniform.The analysis indicated no significant differences in fish communities among the three urban areas.However,significant differences were observed between the bank solidified and non-solidified areas,which indicated that the channelization significantly influenced the biodiversity and abundances.An alien species,Clarias gariepinus,was discovered in all examined sites,and it was negatively associated with ten native species.Furthermore,human populations and acidification were also negatively related to diversity.Our findings clearly showed that the consequences of anthropogenic activities shaped ichthyofauna and caused biodiversity loss in the urban river. 展开更多
