The integration of subject competition with graduation project (thesis) of mechanical and electrical undergraduate course can improve the innovation and practicability of the selected topic, make up for the problem of short writing cycle, and strengthen students’ ability of analysis, research, writing and experimental design. This paper analyzes the implementation cases of the deep integration of subject competition and graduation design (thesis), and emphatically expounds the methods of the deep integration of subject competition and graduation design (thesis), so as to finally achieve the purpose of improving the graduation design (thesis) of electromechanical undergraduate. Taking the course "Robotics Engineering" as an example, this paper explores the teaching reform of mechanical and electrical majors, and combines the practical teaching and theoretical teaching of "course competition innovation and research" based on CBL. With the help of flipped classroom teaching mode, practical teaching activities are carried out with hexapod robot as a case task, guided by engineering application. Training students' ability of innovation, design and hands-on practice. This study provides theoretical and practical reference for the new approach of teaching reform of Mechanical and Electrical major group under the background of industry-education integration.展开更多
