An unsupervised classification algorithm is proposed for polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (POLSAR) images based on the mean shift (MS) segmentation and Markov random field (MRF). First, polarimetdc features are exacted by target decomposition for MS segmentation. An initial classification is executed by using the target decomposition and the agglomerative hierarchical clus- tering algorithm. Thereafter, a classification step based on MRF is performed by using the mean coherence matrices obtained for each segment. Under the MRF framework, the smoothness term is defined according to the distance between neighboring areas. By using POLSAR images acquired by the German Aerospace Centre and National Aeronautics and Space Administration/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the experimental results confirm that the proposed method has higher accuracy and better regional connectivity than other classification methods.展开更多

It is discovered that J1405 is a W-subtype shallow contact binary with a contact degree of f = 7.9±0.5% and a mass ratio of q = 1.55±0.02. In order to explain the asymmetric light curves of the system,a cool starspot on the more massive component is employed. This shallow contact eclipsing binary may have been formed from a short-period detached system through orbital shrinkage due to angular momentum loss. Based on the(O-C) method, the variation of orbital period is studied using all the available times of minimum light. The(O-C) diagram reveals that the period is increasing continuously at a rate of d P/dt = +2.09×10^-7 d yr^-1,which can be explained by mass transfer from the less massive component to the more massive one.展开更多

New multi-color CCD photometric light curves in U, B, V, R and I bands are presented and are analyzed by using the Wilson-Devinney code. It is detected that BH Cen is a high-mass-ratio overcontact binary with a fill-out factor of 46.4% and a mass ratio of 0.89. The derived orbital inclination i is 88.9 degrees, indicating that it is a totally eclipsing binary and the photometric parameters can be determined reliably. By adding new eclipse times, the orbital period changes in the binary are analyzed. It is confirmed that the period of BH Cen shows a long-term increase while it undergoes a cyclic oscillation with an amplitude of A3 = 0.024 d and a period of P3 = 50.3 yr. The high mass ratio, overcontact configuration and long-term continuous increase in the orbital period all suggest that BH Cen is in the evolutionary state after the shortest-period stage of Case A mass transfer. The continuous increase in period can be explained by mass transfer from the secondary component to the primary one at a rate of˙M2 = 2.8×10^-6 M⊙per year. The cyclic change can be plausibly explained by the presence of a third body because both components in the BH Cen system are early-type stars. Its mass is determined to be no less than 2.2 M⊙ at an orbital separation of about 32.5 AU. Since no third light was found during the photometric solution, it is possible that the third body may be a candidate for a compact object.展开更多

Using the 2013 version of the Wilson-Devinney(W-D) code, we analyzed these data. The photometric solutions reveal that NS VS 01286630 is an active detached eclipsing binary(EB) with a high orbital inclination(nearly 90°). Remarkably, the temperature of the primary component(the hotter star) is higher than the secondary one, but the value of mass ratio q(M2/M1)for NS VS 0128663 is more than 1, which can be explained in that the surface of the secondary component of NSVS 01286630 is covered with big cool starspots. Based on our new CCD mid-eclipse times and the data published until now, variations in the mid-eclipse times were reanalyzed in detail using a weighted least-squares method. It is discovered that the(O-C) diagram of the system shows a cyclic oscillation with a period of 3.61 yr and an amplitude of 0.001 d. The cyclic variation may be caused by the light-travel time effect(LTTE) due to the presence of a third companion, whose mass we calculated as M3 sin(i3) =0.11 M(⊙). The third body may affect the orbital evolution of the central binary system by transferring angular momentum.展开更多

For CSS J075415.6+191052, the RI light curves show weakening around the left shoulder of the secondary minimum, which indicates that there may be a dark spot on the secondary component. However, the light curves of BV bands are totally symmetric. It is unreasonable if the dark spot is caused by magnetic activity or mass transfer between the two components. Therefore, weakening of the light curves in this contact binary is caused by something else. A possible explanation is mass transferring from the primary component to the common convective envelope through the inner Lagrangian point, and this part of the mass, for some reason, weakens the RI bands of light from the secondary component. O-C analysis of NW Leo reveals a cyclic period change with a modulation period of 4.7 yr, which may be caused by the light travel time effect of a third body. The positions of CSS J075415.6+191052 and NW Leo in the P–J′_(orb)diagram indicate that CSS J075415.6+191052 mainly abides by the angular momentum loss theory while NW Leo is dominated by the thermal relaxation oscillation theory.展开更多

Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) is an alternate anthracycline formulation with a more favorable safety profile compared with conventional anthracyclines. METHODS In this open-label trial, 61 women with LABC received up to 6 cycles of PLD 30 mg/m2 on Day 1 and vinorelbine 25 mg/m2 on Days 1 and 8 every 21 days. Hormone receptor and/or HER2 status was not routinely available. RESULTS The overall clinical response rate (primary efficacy endpoint) was 80% (95% CI: 68%-89%). Two patients achieved a pathological complete response (3%), with 75% having their tumor down-staged, and 89% proceeding to tumor resection. The most frequent nonhematologic adverse events were stomatitis, fever, rash, and palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia, with none considered serious. Grade 3 or 4 neutropenia and thrombocytopenia occurred in 10% and 2% of patients, respectively. CONCLUSION PLD plus vinorelbine demonstrated comparable efficacy to conventional anthracyclines plus vinorelbine in the neoadjuvant treatment of LABC, but may offer safety advantages.展开更多

文摘In this paper, new light curve fitting and orbital period change analysis of two contact binaries NSVS 9023048 and NSVS 2461789 are presented. We found that both of them are totally eclipsing contact binaries. Our photometric solutions suggest that NSVS 9023048 is a deep contact binary(q=10.14,f=69.2%),however,NSVS 2461789is a shallow one(f=24.4%,q=3.08).The asymmetric light curves of NSVS 2461789 and NSVS 9023048 can be explained by the star-spot activity. At the same time, using the available eclipse times,we first studied the orbital period changes of these two targets. It is discovered that the period of NSVS 9023048 is decreasing at a rate of dP/dt=-1.17×10^(-6)day yr^(-1),which can be explained by mass transfer from the more massive star to the less massive one or angular momentum loss.In addition, the O-C diagrams of NSVS 9023048 and NSVS 2461789show possible cyclic oscillations with a period of 7.29 yr and 9.91 yr,respectively. The cyclic oscillations may be caused by the light-travel time effect due to the presence of a third component. The mass of the tertiary companion is determined to be M_(3)sin(i_(3))=9.05 Mefor NSVS 9023048 and M_(3)sin(i_(3))=0.11 Mefor NSVS 2461789.Based on our calculations, the third body of NSVS 9023048 may be a black hole candidate. Our study also reveals that NSVS 9023048 is stable now.

文摘Using ground-based telescopes, the multi-color photometric observations of the contact binary EF Boo were obtained in 2020,2023,and 2024.Combining these with 7-sectors of light curves from TESS data, the variations of the O'Connell effect in continuous time and shapes of light curves over several years were identified.Three sets of typical light curves were analyzed to determine the photometric solutions via the Wilson-Devinney program.Considering the spectroscopic mass ratio of q=0.53,these photometric solutions suggest that EF Boo is a W-type W UMa contact binary with the averaged filling factor of f=22.26%,a small temperature difference, and a cool spot on the primary component. If the variations of the O'Connell effect are due to the magnetic activity of this cool spot, the longitudinal location varied from 50.4 to 302.7 over the time interval of 1434 days.Based on all CCD minimum times from ground-based telescope and TESS data, the O-C curve was also analyzed.A cyclic oscillation(A3=0.00575 days,T3=27.8 yr)superimposed on a secular increase(dP/dt=6.74×10^(-8)day yr^(-1))was discovered for the first time. The successive increase is possibly a result of mass transfer from the less massive star to the more massive one.The cyclic oscillations were possibly explained by the light-travel time effect via a third body or the magnetic activities. From the short cadence observations from TESS,we also calculated the value of the O'Connell effect and O-C value for each cycle and found no correlation between the O'Connell effect and O-C over nearly 30 days across different sectors.

文摘Halide perovskites have emerged as promising materials for X-ray detection with exceptional properties and reasonable costs.Among them, heterostructures between 3D perovskites and low-dimensional perovskites attract intensive studies of their advantages due to low-level ion migration and decent stability. However, there is still a lack of methods to precisely construct heterostructures and a fundamental understanding of their structure-dependent optoelectronic properties.Herein,a gas-phase method was developed to grow 2D perovskites directly on 3D perovskites with nanoscale accuracy. In addition, the larger steric hindrance of organic layers of 2D perovskites was proved to enable slower ion migration, which resulted in reduced trap states and better stability.Based on MAPbBr_(3)single crystals with the(PA)_(2)PbBr_(4)capping layer, the X-ray detector achieved a sensitivity of 22,245μC Gy_(air)^(−1)cm^(−2),a response speed of 240μs,and a dark current drift of 1.17.10^(–4)nA cm^(−1)s^(−1)V^(−1),which were among the highest reported for state-of-the-art perovskite-based X-ray detectors. This study presents a precise synthesis method to construct perovskite-based heterostructures. It also brings an in-depth understanding of the relationship between lattice structures and properties, which are beneficial for advancing high-performance and cost-effective X-ray detectors.

文摘AIM: To confirm the anti-invasion and anti-migration effects of down-regulation of Notch1 combined with interleukin(IL)-24 in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) cells.METHODS: γ-secretase inhibitors(GSIs) were used to down-regulate Notch1.Hep G2 and SMMC7721 cells were seeded in 96-well plates and treated with GSI-I or/and IL-24 for 48 h.Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. The cellular and nuclear morphology was observed under a fluorescence microscope. To further verify the apoptotic phenotype, cell cultures were also analyzed by flow cytometry with Annexin V-FITC/propidium iodide staining. The expression of Notch1,SNAIL1,SNAIL2,E-cadherin,IL-24,XIAP and VEGF was detected by Western blot. The invasion and migration capacities of HCC cells were detected by wound healing assays.Notch1 and Snail were downregulated by RNA interference, and the target proteins were analyzed by Western blot.To investigate the mechanism of apoptosis,we analyzed Hep G2 cells treated with si Notch1 or si CON plus IL-24 or not for 48h by caspase-3/7 activity luminescent assay.RESULTS: GSI-I at a dose of 2.5 μmol/L for 24 h caused a reduction in cell viability of about 38% in Hep G2 cells. The addition of 50 ng/m L IL-24 in combination with 1 or 2.5 μmol/L GSI-I reduced cell viability of about 30% and 15%,respectively.Treatment with IL-24 alone did not induce any cytotoxic effect. In SMMC7721 cells with the addition of IL-24 to GSI-I(2.5 μmol/L),the reduction of cell viability was only about 25%.Following GSI-I/IL-24 combined treatment for 6 h,the apoptotic rate of Hep G2 cells was 47.2%,while no significant effect was observed in cells treated with the compounds employed separately.Decreased expression of Notch1 and its associated proteins SNAIL1 and SNAIL2 was detected in Hep G2 cells.Increased E-cadherin protein expression was noted in the presence of IL-24 and GSI-I.Furthermore,the increased GSI-I and IL-24 in Hep G2 cell was associated with downregulation of MMP-2,XIAP and VEGF.In the absence of treatment,Hep G2 cells could migrate into the scratched space in 24 h.With IL-24 or GSI-I treatment, the wound was still open after 24 h.And the distance of the wound closure strongly correlated with the concentrations of IL-24 and GSI-I.Treatment of Notch-1 silenced Hep G2 cells with 50 ng/m L IL-24 alone for 48 h induced cytotoxic effects very similar to those observed in non-silenced cells treated with GSI-I/IL-24 combination.Caspase-3/7 activity was increased in the presence of si Notch1 plus IL-24 treatment.CONCLUSION: Down-regulation of Notch1 by GSI-I or si RNA combined with IL-24 can sensitize apoptosis and decrease the invasion and migration capabilities of Hep G2 cells.

文摘Objective:Cancer-associated inflammation and coagulation cascades play vital roles in cancer progression and survival. In this study,we investigated the significance of the combination of preoperative fibrinogen and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in predicting the survival of patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:We retrospectively enrolled 589 patients with NSCLC who underwent surgery. The univariate and multivariate Cox survival analyses were used to evaluate the prognostic indicators, including the combination of fibrinogen and NLR(F-NLR).The cut-off values for fibrinogen,NLR,and clinical laboratory variables were defined by the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.According to the ROC curve, the recommended cut-off values for fibrinogen and the NLR were 3.48 g/L and 2.30,respectively.Patients with both a high NLR(≥2.30)and hyperfibrinogenemia(≥3.48 g/L)were given a score of 2,whereas those with one or neither were scored as 1 or 0,respectively.Results:Our results showed that F-NLR was an independent prognostic indicator for disease-free survival(DFS)[hazard ratio(HR),1.466;95%confidence interval(CI),1.243–1.730;P<0.001]and overall survival(OS)(HR,1.512;95%CI,1.283–1.783;P<0.001).The five-year OS rates were 66.1%,53.5%,and 33.3%for the F-NLR=0,F-NLR=1,and F-NLR=2,respectively(P<0.001).Correspondingly,their five-year DFS rates were 62.2%,50.3%,and 30.4%,respectively(P<0.001).In the subgroup analyses of the pathological stages, the F-NLR level was significantly correlated with DFS and OS in stage I and IIIA cancers. Conclusions:Preoperative F-NLR score can be used as a valuable prognostic marker for patients with resectable early-stage NSCLC.

文摘Speckle effects on classification results can be sup- pressed to some extent by introducing the contextual information. By using POLSAR images acquired by the German Aerospace Centre and National Aeronautics and Space Administration/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the experimental results confirm that the proposed method has higher accuracy and better regional connectivity than other classification methods.

文摘In this paper,CCD photometric light curves for the short-period eclipsing binary 1 SWASP J140533.33+114639.1(hereafter J1405) in the BV R bands are presented and analyzed using the 2013 version of the Wilson-Devinney(W-D) code. The(O-C) diagram reveals that the period is increasing continuously at a rate of d P/dt = +2.09×10^-7 d yr^-1,which can be explained by mass transfer from the less massive component to the more massive one.

文摘BH Cen is a short-period early-type binary with a period of 0.792^d in the extremely young star-forming cluster IC 2944. Since no third light was found during the photometric solution, it is possible that the third body may be a candidate for a compact object.

文摘Nickel-manganese binary layered oxides with high working potential and low cost are potential candidates for sodium-ion batteries, but their electrochemical properties are highly related to compositional diversity.Diverse composite materials with various phase structures of P3,P2/P3,P2,P2/O3,and P2/P3/O3 were synthesized by manipulating the sodium content and calcination conditions, leading to the construction of a synthetic phase diagram for Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2)(0.45≤x≤1.1).Then,we compared the electrochemical characteristics and structural evolution during the desodiation/sodiation process of P2,P2/P3,P2/03,and P2/P3/O3-Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2).Among them,P2/P3-Na0.75Ni0.25Mn0.75O2exhibits the best rate capability of 90.9 mA h g^(-1)at 5 C,with an initial discharge capacity of 142.62 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 C and a capacity retention rate of 78.25%after 100 cycles at 1 C in the voltage range of 2-4.3 V.The observed superior sodium storage performance of P2/P3 hybrids compared to other composite phases can be attributed to the enhanced Na^(+)transfer dynamic, reduction of the Jahn-teller effect, and improved reaction reversibility induced by the synergistic effect of P2 and P3 phases. The systematic research and exploration of phases in Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2)provide new sights into high-performance nickel-manganese binary layered oxide for sodium-ion batteries.

文摘Objective To construct and verificate an RNA-binding protein(RBP)-associated prognostic model for gliomas using integrated bioinformatics analysis. Methods RNA-sequencing and clinic pathological data of glioma patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database and the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas database(CGGA)were downloaded. The aberrantly expressed RBPs were investigated between gliomas and normal samples in TCGA database. We then identified prognosis related hub genes and constructed a prognostic model. This model was further validated in the CGGA-693 and CGGA-325 cohorts. Results Totally 174 differently expressed genes-encoded RBPs were identified, containing 85 down-regulated and 89 up-regulated genes. We identified five genes-encoded RBPs(ERI1,RPS2,BRCA1,NXT1,and TRIM21)as prognosis related key genes and constructed a prognostic model.Overall survival(OS)analysis revealed that the patients in the high-risk subgroup based on the model were worse than those in the low-risk subgroup. The area under the receiver operator characteristic curve(AUC)of the prognostic model was 0.836 in the TCGA dataset and 0.708 in the CGGA-693 dataset, demonstrating a favorable prognostic model.Survival analyses of the five RBPs in the CGGA-325 cohort validated the findings.A nomogram was constructed based on the five genes and validated in the TCGA cohort, confirming a promising discriminating ability for gliomas. Conclusion The prognostic model of the five RBPs might serve as an independent prognostic algorithm for gliomas.

文摘In this paper, new light curves(LCs) of contact eclipsing binary(CEB) systems LX Lyn and V0853 Aur are presented and analyzed by using the 2015 version of the Wilson-Devinney(W-D) code.In order to explain their asymmetric LCs,cool starspots on the components were employed. It is suggested that their fill-out degrees are f=12.0%(LX Lyn) and f=26.3%(V0853 Aur).At the same time,we found that LX Lyn is a W-type eclipsing binary(EB) with an orbital inclination of i=84°.88 and a mass ratio of q=2.31.V0853 Aur is also a W-type CEB with a mass ratio of q=2.77 and an orbital inclination of i= 79°.26.Based on all available times of light minimum, their orbital period changes are studied by using the O-C method. The O-C diagram of LX Lyn reveals a cyclic oscillation with a period of about 14.84 yr and an amplitude of 0.0019 days, which can be explained by the light-travel time effect(LTTE) due to the presence of a third body with a minimum mass of0.06M_⊙.For V0853 Aur,it is discovered that the O-C diagram of the system also shows a cyclic oscillation with a period of 9.64 yr and an amplitude of 0.03365 days. The cyclic oscillation of V0853 Aur can be attributed to the LTTE by means of a third body with a mass no less than 3.77M_⊙.The third body may play an important role in the formation and evolution of these systems.

文摘New photometric observations of NS VS 01286630 were performed and two sets of fourcolor(B, V, Rc, Ic) light curves(LCs) were obtained. The third body may affect the orbital evolution of the central binary system by transferring angular momentum.

文摘Toxic harmful algal blooms(HABs)can cause deleterious effects in marine organisms, threatening the stability of marine ecosystems. It is well known that different strains, natural populations and growth conditions of the same toxic algal species may lead to different amount of phycotoxin production and the ensuing toxicity. To fully assess the ecological risk of toxic HABs,it is of great importance to investigate the toxic effects of phycotoxins in marine organisms. In this study, the short-term toxicity of 14 common phycotoxins(alone and in combination)in the marine zooplankton Artemia salina was investigated. The 48 h LC_(50)of the 14 phycotoxins varied from 0.0193µg/mL to 2.415µg/mL.The most potent phycotoxin was azaspiracids-3(AZA3;with a LC_(50)of 0.0193µg/mL),followed by azaspiracids-2(AZA2;0.0226µg/mL),pectenotoxin-2(PTX2;0.0460µg/mL)and dinophysistoxin-1(DTX1;0.0818µg/mL).For the binary exposure, okadaic acid(OA)induced potential additive effects with DTX1,probably due to their similar structure(polyether fatty acid)and mode of action(attacking the serine/threonine phosphoprotein phosphatases). On the other hand,OA showed potential antagonistic effects with PTX2,which might be accounted for by their activation on the detoxification activity of cytochrome P450 activity. In addition,DTX1 induced potential synergetic effects with saxitoxin(STX),yessotoxin(YTX)or PTX2,suggesting the hazard potency of the mixtures of DTX1 and other phycotoxins(like STX,YTX and PTX2)with regard to the ecological risk. These results provide valuable toxicological data for assessing the impact of phycotoxins on marine planktonic species and highlight the potential ecological risk of toxic HABs in marine ecosystems.

文摘Two sets of CCD photometric observations for contact binary TU Boo were obtained in 2020 and 2021.Different from its asymmetric light curves published from the literature, our BVRcIc-band curves show that the heights of maximum are almost equal. These distortions of light curves possibly indicate that the components were active in past 25 yr,but they were stable in the last two years. For total-eclipse binary TU Boo,due to some star-spots on the surface of the components, the physical structure obtained by many investigators are different. Therefore, the symmetric multi-color light curves in 2020,2021 are important for understanding configuration and evolution of this system.By using the Wilson–Devinney program,it is confirmed that TU Boo is an A-type shallow-contact binary with the temperature difference ofΔT=152 K and fill-out of f=14.67%.In the O−C diagram of orbital period analysis,a cyclic oscillation superimposed on a continuous decrease was determined. The long-term decreasing is often explained by the mass transfer from the more massive star to less massive one, this system will evolve into a deeper contact binary with time. The cyclic oscillations computed from much more CCD times of light minimum maybe result from the light-travel time effect via the presence of a third body. These characters of structure, evolution and ternary belong to typical A-type W UMa binaries with spectral G.

文摘Multi-color light curves of CSS J075415.6+191052 and NW Leo are presented and the photometric solutions suggest that CSS J075415.6+191052 is an A-subtype contact binary with low mass ratio(q = 0.178) while NW Leo has a high mass ratio(q = 0.707). The positions of CSS J075415.6+191052 and NW Leo in the P–J′_(orb)diagram indicate that CSS J075415.6+191052 mainly abides by the angular momentum loss theory while NW Leo is dominated by the thermal relaxation oscillation theory.
文摘OBJECTIVE In China, vinorelbine plus an anthracycline is a common neoadjuvant regimen for locally-advanced breast cancer (LABC). CONCLUSION PLD plus vinorelbine demonstrated comparable efficacy to conventional anthracyclines plus vinorelbine in the neoadjuvant treatment of LABC, but may offer safety advantages.

文摘First multi-wavelength photometric light curves(LCs)of the short-period eclipsing binary(EB)1 SWASP J034439.97+030425.5(hereafter J0344)are presented and analyzed by using the 2013 version of the Wilson-Devinney(W-D)code.To explain the asymmetric LCs of J0344,a cool star-spot on the less massive component was employed. The photometric solutions suggest that J0344 is a W-subtype shallow contact EB with a contact degree of f=4.9%±3.0%and a mass ratio of q=2.456±0.013.Moreover,an obvious third light was detected in our analysis. We calculated the average luminosity contribution of the third light to the total light, and that value reaches up to 49.78%.Based on the O-C method, the variations of the orbital period were studied for the first time. Our O-C diagram reveals a secular decrease superimposed on a cyclic oscillation. The orbital period decreases at a rate of d P/dt=-6.07×10-7 d yr-1,which can be explained by the mass transfer from the more massive component to the less massive one.Besides, its O-C diagram also shows a cyclic oscillation with an amplitude of 0.0030 d and a period about 7.08 yr,which can be explained by the presence of a third body with a minimum mass of M3 min=0.15±0.02 M⊙.The third component may play an important role in the formation and evolution of J0344 by drawing angular momentum from the central system.

文摘New CCD photometric observations of G-type contact binary UV Lyn were obtained in 2006 and 2020,when the light curves(LCs)showed positive O'Connell effect and negative O'Connell effect, respectively. From the previous studies, the LCs by other ground-based telescope are variable from 1973 to 2020,particularly the magnitude difference between the two maxima. These phenomena indicate that the component has been active in the past 47 yr.In addition, during monitoring by the space telescope Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite(TESS)from January to March 2020,we fortunately found continuous variations from the O'Connell effect in every cycle for the first time. The analysis also shows that in a short time, the positive O'Connell effect has been transformed into the negative one, which demonstrates that there are stronger magnetic activities on the surface of the component.By using the Wilson-Devinney code with a spot model, these photometric solutions confirm UV Lyn is a shallow W-subtype contact binary with a cool equatorial spot on the less massive component. The successive variability of the O'Connell effect possibly results from one equatorial cool spot shifting gradually along with time.We also investigated its O-C curve from these continuous LCs,and there is no apparent variation in such a short time. However, regarding the O'Connell effect as the indicator of magnetic activity indicates the system is possibly undergoing a periodic trend with a period of nearly 38 days.Comparing with the trend of the O-C curve,we could not find any relation between the period variation and magnetic activity.

文摘Early identification and treatment of stroke can greatly improve patient outcomes and quality of life.Although clinical tests such as the Cincinnati Pre-hospital Stroke Scale(CPSS)and the Face Arm Speech Test(FAST)are commonly used for stroke screening, accurate administration is dependent on specialized training. In this study,we proposed a novel multimodal deep learning approach, based on the FAST,for assessing suspected stroke patients exhibiting symptoms such as limb weakness, facial paresis, and speech disorders in acute settings. We collected a dataset comprising videos and audio recordings of emergency room patients performing designated limb movements, facial expressions, and speech tests based on the FAST.We compared the constructed deep learning model, which was designed to process multi-modal datasets, with six prior models that achieved good action classification performance, including the I3D,SlowFast,X3D,TPN,TimeSformer,and MViT.We found that the findings of our deep learning model had a higher clinical value compared with the other approaches. Moreover, the multi-modal model outperformed its single-module variants, highlighting the benefit of utilizing multiple types of patient data, such as action videos and speech audio. These results indicate that a multi-modal deep learning model combined with the FAST could greatly improve the accuracy and sensitivity of early stroke identification of stroke, thus providing a practical and powerful tool for assessing stroke patients in an emergency clinical setting.
