Several studies have demonstrated that reintroducing crop straw to fields may intensify cadmium(Cd)contamination in agricultural soils. However, the specific effects of long-term straw management practices on Cd concentration and its bioavailability in soil-rice ecosystems remain unclear. In this context,to explore the influence of straw return(SR)and straw removal(NSR)on Cd accumulation in both soil and rice within a double-cropping system,we conducted a four-year field study. Our research study unveiled that NSR consistently decreased soil Cd concentration and its bioavailability by approximately 16.93%–27.30%and 8.23%–21.05%respectively across both study sites.Conversely,SR resulted in a substantial increase in soil Cd bioavailability, ranging from 38.64%–53.95%.Notably,compared to NSR,SR significantly increased total soil Cd by 5.47%–36.58%and increased Cd content in brown rice by 8.00%–100.24%.Remarkably,after four consecutive years of NSR,brown rice Cd concentration at the Changfeng site compiled with national safety standards(GB 2762–2022).Additionally,returning early rice strawsignificantly raised soil Cd bioavailability for the subsequent crop, more so than late rice straw did for the early rice the following year. The findings suggest that traditional double-cropping cultivation with straw removal can effectively mitigate Cd contamination risks in crops and farmland in Hunan Province. 展开更多

Objectives This study aimed to examine the associations between depression, resilience, and fatigue in patients with multivessel coronary disease and verify their causal relationships. Methods Between October 2023 and June 2024,316 patients with multivessel coronary disease were recruited from three tertiary hospitals in Tangshan,China. The Patient Health Questionnaire,Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, and the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory were administered to the patients on the third day of admission(T1),one month after discharge(T2),and three months after discharge(T3).Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationships among depression, resilience, and fatigue in patients with multivessel coronary disease, and cross-lagged analysis to explore the temporal causal relationships. Results In patients with multivessel coronary disease, levels of depression and fatigue decreased from T1 to T3,while resilience scores increased during the same period. The correlation analysis revealed significant relationships among depression, resilience, and fatigue at T1,T2,and T3(P<0.01).The autoregressive paths indicated high stability over time for depression, medium stability for resilience, and low stability for fatigue.Cross-lagged paths demonstrated that depression at T1 significantly predicted fatigue at T2(β=0.461,P<0.001),and depression at T2 significantly predicted fatigue at T3(β=0.957,P<0.001).And resilience at T1 significantly predicted fatigue at T2(β=−0.271,P<0.001),and resilience at T2 significantly predicted fatigue at T3(β=−0.176,P<0.001).Additionally,resilience had a moderating effect on the relationship between depression and fatigue(β=−0.760,P<0.001).Conclusions Our study confirmed that depression and resilience predicted fatigue in patients with multivessel coronary disease. To prevent and mitigate fatigue, alleviating depressive symptoms and enhancing resilience levels in patients at an early stage is essential. 展开更多

[ Objective] This study aimed to clone the PsSFBB gene from Xinjiang pear for bioinformatics analysis. [ Method ] PsSFBB gene was cloned from an- thers of Qipan pear by using RT-PCR and RACE technologies for bioinformatics analysis. [Result] A SFBBt-α gene with a full-length of 1 231 bp was cloned and named PsSFBB6-α (Genbank accession number: EU909685). PsSFBBt-ct gene encodes a protein of 378 amino acids, with an F-box motif composed of about 50 amino acids in the N-temfinal. According to the bioinformatics analysis, the molecular formula of PsSFB6-α protein is C2000 H3034 N517 O558S223, with relative molecu- lar mass of 43 987.5 and isoelectric point of 6.02, and the secondary structure is dominated by or-helices ; theoretically, the half life period is 30 h and the instabil- ity parameter is 55.21, so PsSFBB6-α protein is an instable protein ; in addition, it is predicted that PsSFBB6-α protein is a hydrophilic and non-secreted protein with lyases activity and specifically recognized substrates, which was consistent with the function of F-box protein. [ Conclusion] This study laid the foundation for further research on SFBB proteins and the mechanism of self-incompatibility and provided theoretical basis for breeding of self-compatible cultivars of Xinjiang pear and scientific arrangement of pollination trees in production to increase the yield and quality. 展开更多
