Accurate forecasting of stock prices is crucial for financial decision-making and risk management. This paper presents a novel approach to predict stock prices by integrating Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Exponential smoothing and Machine Learning (ML) techniques. Our study aims to enhance the predictive accuracy of stock price forecasting, which can significantly impact investment strategies and economic growth in this research paper implement the ARIMAML proposed method to predict the stock prices for Investment Bank of Iraq.展开更多

This paper consists of three parts: the first part includes two methods of the iris pattern recognition system: Libor Masek and genetic algorithms, the second part includes the compression-decompression process of iris image using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) as a data reduction method, in order to reduce image size, and the third part talks about wireless network. In this work, an iris image is transferred across wireless network which contains two independent-parallel lines connected to the central Personal Computer (PC) in order to be recognized at the end of each line, then the results of recognition are sent back to the central PC. The proposed genetic algorithm, which is used in this paper is more accurate than Masek algorithm and has low computational time and complexity, which makes this method better than Masek method in recognizing iris patterns.展开更多

The goal of this paper is to develop and implement an intelligent based system to predict secondary structure of a protein from its primary amino acid sequence by using five models of Neural Network (NN). These models are Feed Forward Neural Network (FNN), Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ), Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and CNN Fine Tuning for PSSP. To evaluate our approaches two datasets have been used. The first one contains 114 protein samples, and the second one contains 1845 protein samples.展开更多

The aim of this paper is to present a proposed authentication system based on fingerprint as biometric type, which is capable of recognizing persons with high level of confidence and minimum error rate. The designed system is implemented using Matlab 2015b and tested on a set of fingerprint images gathered from 90 different persons with 8 samples for each using Futronic’s FS80 USB2.0 Fingerprint Scanner and the ftrScanApiEx.exe program. An efficient image enhancement algorithm is used to improve the clarity (contrast) of the ridge structures in a fingerprint. After that core point and candidate core points are extracted for each Fingerprint image and feature vector have been extracted for each point using filterbank_based algorithm. Also, for the matching the KNN neural network was used. In addition, the matching results were calculated and compared to other papers using some performance evaluation factors. A threshold has been proposed and used to provide the rejection for the fingerprint images that does not belong to the database and the experimental results show that the KNN technique have a recognition rate equal to 93.9683% in a threshold equal to 70%.展开更多

This paper consists of two parts: the first includes the method of optimal distribution of electricity in the presence of Active Demand based on the price of energy for the specific time in the system;this feature will help the consumer to determine the process of consumption through the advertised price;all this will appear through the energy box. The second part involves the introduction of the genetic algorithm to obtain the best solutions for costs and also the best choice for the distribution of electrical power, which makes this method optimize by introducing the genetic algorithm with electrical energy. The main drivers of this work are to provide continuous electrical energy at the lowest cost and also to simulate active demand, in addition to the rapid processing of energy failures by the aggregator and raising awareness of the process of energy conservation for the consumer.展开更多
