摘要
美重授受,丑待体性。丑学的心性气质是迟暮、不惑、老成;它的思想特点是寒俭、沉重、苦涩;其精神张力是“他在”、反响、化裁。领悟丑学的心性气质知其大器晚成者天亏在先的资质;体会丑学的思想特点识其内向守谦者人文不悯的底色;把握丑学的精神张力得其无己和化己的学术宗旨。它没有美学式的“自由的许诺”,而非常看重人道式的“同情的理解”。
Beauty is showy and appreciated, while uglitics is to be endorsed and appreceived. Uglitics is temperamentally retarded, unideal,and steady, which requires the understanding of its delayed success caused by fatal injustice. Uglitics is logically characterized by poverty, worry and bitterness, which demands recognition of the contempt of the mainstream society for the introvert and the modest. Uglitics spiritual tension consists in alienness, reaction and detachment, which lifts academic objective into the insight of self-seclusion and self-evolusion. Unlike aesthetics which promises freedom, uglitics focuses on humanely sympathetic understanding.
