摘要
并行虚拟机PVM是一种通用的网络并行程序开发环境,大数据量的地形图像处理若采用并行计算将会提高处理速度,尤其在DEM的可视化方面。该文结合"数字清江"项目中地形图像处理的具体问题,对利用基于PVM的微机网络平台进行并行计算做了有益的探索。
Parallel Virtual Machine is a universal development environment based on microcomputers net. The speed of processing will be accelerated greatly especially in the visualization of Digital Elevation Model when using parallel computing to process remote sensing image with huge data. This paper discusses the main problems in the project 'Digital Qingjiang', doing some explorations in the parallel computing based on microcomputers net.
