摘要
Objective:To exam the availability of the Chinese version of Test Anxiety Inventory(TAI) in the high school students of Guangzhou. Methods:Items of TAI were analysed by correlation, and its reliability and validity were estimated. Results:(1)The correlation coefficient between most items and the total score of the scale or sub-scale scores was higher than 0.4. (2)Test-retest reliability is 0.810; Cronbach α coefficient of the whole scale, emotion and worry sub-scale were 0.8678,0.7489,0.7847,respectively; the split-half reliability was 0.8565. (3)The correlation coeffient between TAI and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory were 0.663 and 0.561; the scores of TAI were consistent with students’ feeling of test anxiety. The construct validity was identified by confirmatory factor analysis, with high correlation coeffient between emotion and worry factors. Conclusion:TAI is available for high school students in Guangzhou.
