介绍了棕榈藤在中国及各省区的天然分布 ,阐述了海南、云南、广西、广东和台湾等省在过去 4 0年引进的国内外藤种及其生长情况 。
The paper deals with the natural distribution of rattan, the introduction of rattan in different parts of southern China and the problems occurring while introducing rattan. In Hainan Island, the following rattan species were introduced successfully: Calamus balansaeanus, C. guangxiensis, C. caesius, C. dioicus and Daemonorops jenkinsiana. C. balansaeanus, C. compsostachys, C. distichus var. shangsiensis, C. egregius, C. guangxiensis, C. melanochrous, C. nambariensis, C. simplicifolius, C. tetradactyloides, C. caesius, C. cambojensis and C. dioicus were introduced successfully into Guangdong province. Guangxi Province witnessed C. egregius, C. flagellum, C. henryanus, C. nambariensis var. xishuangbannaensis, C. simplicifolius, C. caesius and C. dioicus introduced successfully into Guangxi. Calamus bonianus, Daemonorops margaritae and D. jenkinsianus were introduced successfully into Yunnan Province. Only Daemonorops margaritae was introduced into Taiwan Province.
