摘要
本文主要探讨英汉两种语言在几个领域中委婉语的差别,总结了委婉语与文化之间的关系,最后提出进行委婉语翻译的几种方法。
This essay gives a presentation of the differences of euphematic expressions in English and Chinese cultures in different areas. It also generalizes the relations between culture and euphemism. Furthermore, it suggests some practical approaches to the process in translating euphemism in order to give back its original flavor.
