摘要
斯坦因在第三次中亚考察期间,于1915年1月19日至2月1日在新疆吐鲁番阿斯塔那墓地进行考古挖掘,为期14天。斯坦因在阿斯塔那墓地考古期间,每天记录详细的发掘日记。按照时间顺序,对斯坦因在阿斯塔那墓地记录的14篇日记的未刊手稿进行初步研究,梳理斯坦因发掘阿斯塔那墓地第1—10组所包含的32座墓葬的过程。
During his third Central Asian Expedition carried out from 1913-1915,Aurel Stein stayed in the Turfan Basin for a total of 115 days,from October 1914 to February 1915.During his exploration of Turfan,Stein conducted an archaeological ex-cavation of Astana Cemetery over the course of 14 days,from January 19th to February 1st,1915.Stein kept detailed diaries of the activities conducted during each day of the excavation.Based on the 14 entries written at this time,this article recreates the excavation process conducted on the 32 tombs at Astana,following the order of groupsⅠto X of the tombs.
