摘要 It’s widely believed that we’re experiencing a crisis of trust in institutions.Medicine, alongside government and media, stands accused of losing the public’s confidence.During the pandemic, this narrative intensified.Medical authorities changed their recommendations as new evidence emerged, social media amplified doubts about vaccines and treatments, and the politicization of public health measures seemed to drive wedges between medicine and large segments of the population.
