摘要
岩石薄片鉴定是一种通过将岩石标本磨制成薄片,并在偏光显微镜下观察矿物的结晶特点、光学性质,从而确定岩石的矿物成分、结构、构造和成因特征,最终确定岩石类型及其名称的技术。其鉴定结果在油气和矿产资源勘查、环境调查治理和水利工程等方面有着重要的作用。随着实验技术的发展,岩石薄片鉴定已从人工识别逐渐向智能化识别转变,对薄片制作质量要求更高。该文详细阐述岩石薄片的制作工艺为选样—切样—磨平—粘片—打薄—磨片—盖片7个环节;针对非常规矿物(黏土、碳酸岩等)改进薄片制备方法。同时,分析实验流程中可能影响薄片鉴定结果的因素和提供了薄片受损后修复方法,以供使用者参考。
Rock thin section identification is a method of grinding rock specimens into thin sections and observing the crystallization characteristics and optical properties of minerals under a polarized microscope to determine the mineral composition,structure,structure and genetic characteristics of rocks,and finally determine the rock type and name technology.Its identification results play an important role in oil and gas and mineral resource exploration,environmental investigation and management,and water conservancy projects.With the development of experimental technology,the identification of rock slices has gradually shifted from manual identification to intelligent identification,and the quality of slices has higher requirements.This paper describes in detail the making process of rock slices:seven links:sample selection-sample cutting-polishing-sheet bonding-thinning-grinding-cover sheet;the preparation method of slices has been improved for unconventional minerals(clay,carbonate rock,etc.).At the same time,the factors that may affect the identification results of the slices in the experimental process are analyzed and methods for repairing the slices after they are damaged are provided for users'reference.
