摘要
2004年,我国嫦娥工程月球探测任务立项,至今,完成了“绕”-“落”-“回”三期工程,并在稳步推进“勘”-“探”-“建”四期和后续探测任务。嫦娥工程实现了我国首次地外采样返回,并成功返回了月球背面的样品,为推动我国行星科学发展作出了突出贡献,为月球与行星科学认知贡献了中国智慧。本文主要以月球水为线索,回顾月球水相关的科学问题、发展脉络和研究前沿,结合嫦娥五号和六号返回样品的新进展和新认识,探讨月球水的起源、来源与时空演变特征,及其对月球起源、地月系统起源、极区水冰探测、月表水资源利用等方面的启示,并梳理未来月球水的研究方向,为后续月球探测任务规划提供参考。
In 2004,the Chang′e lunar exploration program of China was officially initiated.To date,the three-phase objectives including the″orbiting,″″landing,″and″returning″of the Chang′e program have been successfully completed.Now its fourth-phase objectives including″surveying,″″exploring,″and″constructing″and subsequent exploration missions are steadily advancing.Through the implementation of the Chang′e program,China has achieved the China′s first extraterrestrial sample return which successfully brought back samples from the both far and near sides of the Moon.The implementation of the Chang′e program made outstanding contributions to promote the development of planetary science in China.It has also contributed Chinese wisdom for expanding the knowledge of the lunar and planetary sciences.In this paper,by primarily taking the lunar water as a clue,we have reviewed the relevant scientific issues,development context,and research frontiers related to the lunar water.Meanwhile,combined with the new findings and insights based on data of samples returned by the Chang′e-5 and Chang′e-6,we have explored the origin,source,and spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the lunar water,as well as their implications for the understanding of origin of the Moon and the Earth-Moon system,the detection of water and ice in polar regions,and the utilization of lunar surface water resources.Finally,we have sorted out future research directions of the lunar water to provide references for the planning of subsequent lunar exploration missions.
