摘要
1982年12月将美国海湾扇贝引来青岛。经加温促进性腺成熟,翌年1月获受精卵,在18—21℃条件下培育4星期,幼苗平均壳高达827μm,5月达6.9mm,移至山东胶州湾及福建罗源湾试养。9月初壳高达50mm,性腺成熟(并采卵育出第二代),12月底达5.9cm,重46g。据此认为,海湾扇贝是适于黄海与东海我国沿岸养殖的贝类,当年即可收获。
We have planned for years to introduce bay scallop from the east coast of the U.S.into China to shorten the economic turn-over from 2 years to 1 year.Parent bay scallops from the U.S.were carried to Qingdao on December 20,1982 and stocked in indoor tanks at conditioned temperature and fed with a mixture of Phaeodictylum tricornutum,Pyramimonas sp.and Chlorella sp..They spawned on January 26,next year.The hatched larvae were reared at a temperature of 18—21℃and fed with Isochrysis galbana,Pyramimonas sp.and Chlorella sp..In 4 weeks’growing,the spats averaged 827μm.They attained a height of 6.9mm on May 9.In the middle of May,the seed scallops were transferred to Luoyuan Bay,Fujian Province,Jiaozhou Bay,and the area off Taiping Jiao Cape,Qingdao,Shandong Province,for experimental culture,where they were stored in plastic netcages suspended on a single line raft.Bay scallops cultured in Luoyuan Bay grew to an average shell height of 41mm and average weight of 16.9 grams on August 15,with a monthly mean increasement of 10.4 mm.In Jiaozhou Bay and the Taiping Jiao Cape culture area,they grew to 50mm in average shell height(marketable size)and 26 grams in average weight by late September,and attained 59 mm in average shell height(R.39—75mm)and 46 grams in average weight in late December.The ovary and testis could be distinguished by color in August.Eggs and sperms were collected for our laboratory in early September,from which the second generation of seed scallops had been reared successfully and are normal to grow and to breed.They can be harvested within one year after fertilization of the eggs.So we consider it a suitable species for mariculture in the Huanghai Sea and the East China Sea.This is the first record for introducing mollusks from the Atlantic Ocean to the China Seas.
