摘要
目的:本研究旨在探讨境外短期交流经历对医学生职业生涯的影响。方法:使用自编国际交流项目参与情况调查问卷,对某医学院第一临床学院八年制6年级至8年级在校学生及同专业已毕业4年至8年的学生进行调查。结果:在校学生中,参与境外短期交流的比未参与者更多选择成为专科医师,而毕业生绝大多数任职专科医师。41.67%的参与者认为境外短期交流经历对他们的职业选择没有影响。在毕业生的早期职业生涯中,在校期间未参与过境外短期交流学生表现出更认可引进国际先进药品及设备。结论:境外短期交流可能对医学生的从医选择具有潜在强化作用,并通过积极影响医学生的职业社会化促进其发展。
Objective:This study aimed to explore the impact of short-term overseas exchange experiences on the career development of medical students.Methods:A self-designed questionnaire on international exchange participation was used to survey 6th-8th year students in the eight-year program of a clinical medical school,as well as graduates from the same program who had been working for 4~8 years.Results:Among current students,those who had participated in short-term overseas exchanges were more likely to choose a career as a specialist physician compared with those who had not.The vast majority of graduates were employed as specialists.A total of 41.67%of participants reported that short-term overseas exchange had no impact on their career choice.In the early career stage of graduates,those who had not participated in overseas exchanges during school years showed a stronger recognition of introducing advanced international drugs and equipment.Conclusion:Short-term overseas exchanges may have a reinforcing effect on medical students'choice of medical practice and promote their career development by positively influencing their professional socialization.
