Dear colleagues and esteemed explorers of medicine across the globe,As the newly appointed Editor-in-Chief of the World Journal of Integrated traditional and western Medicine(WJIM),I stand deeply conscious of the profound mission this journal embodies.Since its inception in 2015,WJIM has held the distinguished status of being the only English-language academic publication exclusively hosted by the China Association of Chinese Medicine.Dedicated to the harmonious integration of traditional Chinese and western medical systems,the journal aspires to bridge the gap between ancient healing wisdom and contemporary scientific knowledge.With an ambitious vision,WJIM strives to rank among the world’s top-tier journals and to reshape the global narrative and discourse surrounding traditional medicine.At this pivotal juncture,we stand ready to embark on a new journey:to build a high-level academic platform fostering in-depth dialogue between traditional wisdom and modern science,where the convergence of Eastern and Western medicine will spark the light of innovation in human health technology.
