摘要
《西厢记》英译本在忠实于原文的基础上,大胆地摆脱了戏曲语言结构的影响,译者在翻译的过程中,抒情部分采用了词体的形式,叙事部分采用了散文体的形式。在语言处理上,主要以直译为主,辅以意译。英译本散文体的内容力争做到了基本内容、形式与原文保持一致。在人物的描述方面,为了准确体现原作的生动性,译者绞尽脑汁,借助于英文的各种描述性语法来取代原文中过于冗长的并列句、复合句,生动地体现了原作的可读性。
<Abstrcat> On the basis of being faithful to the original, Xu Yuan-chong's version of the Romance of Western Bower manages to get rid of the sentence structure influence of drama. The lyrical part is translated in prose, which is different from the original. In translating, the translator manages to be faithful to the original both in form and in content. By using descriptive grammar, the English version tries every means to reproduce the vividness of the original and make it mores readable than the original.
