摘要
本文研究了掺杂Fe、Ti离子对水热条件下合成α Al2 O3 晶体的颜色和晶体形态的影响。在较低温度 (430℃ )和较低压力 (40MPa)下合成出了蓝色刚玉晶体。在未掺入其他的离子时 ,水热反应生成透明α Al2 O3 六棱柱形晶体。当在反应介质中加入FeSO4·7H2 O时 ,水热反应生成黑色α Al2 O3 晶体 ,晶体呈六棱柱体。加入FeSO4·7H2 O和TiCl3 时 ,生成的蓝色宝石晶体显露高指数晶面 ,晶体长度 30 0 μm ,另外还生成大量的薄水铝石晶片。加入FeSO4·7H2 O和TiCl4时 ,蓝宝石晶体显露底面 { 0 0 0 1} ,柱面 { 112 0 } ,和菱面 { 112 3} ,最大的孪晶长度为 2 0 0 μm ,最小的晶粒只有 2 μm ;同样有大量的薄水铝石晶片生成 ,还伴生有少量针状TiO2
In this paper the effect of Fe and Ti ions on the color and shape of α Al 2O 3 crystal synthesized with hydrothermal reaction was investigated.The sapphire crystals were obtained using the hydrothermal method at lower temperature(430℃) and lower pressure (40MPa).The hexagonal prism crystal was synthesized using hydrothermal reaction without adulteration of other ions.The black crystals in the shape of hexagonal prism were obtained when FeSO 4·7H 2O were added into the reaction medium.The sapphire crystals were obtained with the addition of both FeSO 4·7H 2O and TiCl 3 into the reaction medium. The main products were the congeries of boehmite.The size of sapphire crystal was 300μm with high exponential crystal face.When FeSO 4·7H 2O and TiCl 4 were added into the reaction medium,the exposed faces of sapphire crystals are {0001},{1120},{1123} and the size of maximal twins of sapphire crystal is 200μm,the size of the least crystal is 2μm.There are a lot of congeries of boehmite in the product,and a little of needle crystal of rutile TiO 2 was observed in the product.
