硅酸钠改性聚乙烯醇耐水涂层的制备及研究 被引量:8

摘要 通过硅酸钠在酸催化作用下与聚乙烯醇(PVA)反应制备有机一无机复合涂层,改善聚乙烯醇的耐水性。研究了酸种类、硅酸钠用量和热处理温度对复合涂层耐水性的影响。通过红外光谱(FI—TR)、X射线衍射(XRD)、差示扫描量热(DSC)、热重分析(TGA)对复合涂层结构进行了表征。结果表明:硅酸钠与PVA发生交联,PVA结晶度下降,热分解温度提高;随着硅酸钠用量增加,涂层耐水性先提高后下降;选用磷酸作为催化剂,热处理温度在120~140℃较为合适,复合涂层具有较好的耐水性。 An organic-inorganic coating was prepared by the reaction of sodium silicate with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) at the presence of acidic catalyst so as to improve the water re- sistance. The effects of catalyst type, sodium silicate content and heat treatment temperature on the water resistance of the composite coating were studied. The structures of the coating films were characterized by infrared spectroscopy ( FI-TR), X-ray diffraction ( XRD), differ- ential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analyzer (TGA). The results showed that sodium silicate and PVA were cross-linked, the crystallinity of PVA decreased, thermal decomposition temperature increased. With the increase of sodium silicate, the water resistance of the coating increased first and then decreased. In addition, the phosphoric acid was used as a catalyst, the heat treatment temperature ranged preferably from 120 to 140℃, enabling the composite coating to show an improved water resistance.
