The operating system that supports the WDM selects the driver to be loaded based on the ID of a device read from descriptor. By comparing the ID of Hardware with the IDs in system INF files, the system can load the correct driver. The application of some general principles about how to select the right driver to be load in the USB devices is discussed chiefly.
