摘要
酯化反应常采用硫酸作催化剂,但由于用量大、腐蚀设备、废酸排放等问题,国内外化学家们一直在探索新型催化剂以取代硫酸。固体酸、固体超强酸、强酸性阳离子交换树脂等作为酯化反应的催化剂都是一些较为成功的尝试。固体酸或固体超强酸的优点是催化剂易分离、回收或再生后可重复使用。苯膦酸锆具有与α-磷酸氢锆相似的层状晶体结构,不溶于水和有机溶剂。磺化苯膦酸锆(ZSPP)是在苯膦酸锆的苯环上引入磺酸基,结构见图1。所以,ZSPP可看成是键连在无机骨架上的苯磺酸。
Zirconium sulpho-phenylphosphonate (ZSPP) is a new type of solid acid, which is phenylsulfonic acid bonded on inorganic skeleton. It is here reported for the first time the esterification reaction catalyzed with ZSPP. The advantages of this method are: simple procedure, fast reaction rate, and high yields of esters. The catalyst possesses high thermostability and requires a higher operating temperature, and can be reused many times without loss of activity.
