摘要
原文作者是日本鹤见大学图书馆的长谷川丰祜先生。他从事图书馆工作20多年,在因特网上建有自己的网页“图书馆员之页”。该文由吴建中教授推荐,全文转载在北京大学的“图书馆学、情报学网络资源导航”网站中。本文从“扩大和缩小”、“巩固生存的基础”、“定位”和“积极经营的建议”等4个方面阐述图书馆经营管理课题的概略。强调图书馆经营管理中必须引入企业经营观念;并指出图书馆无偿为读者提供信息服务,实际上是学费和税金的还原,因此图书馆和读者之间存在一种“物有所值”的经济行为。
Expounds the subject of library management from four aspects of 'enlargement and reduction', 'confirming subsistent base', 'orientation' and 'advice on active management',emphasizes the conception that enterprise management must be inducted in library management, and points out that free information service of libraries to readers is a return of tuition fee and tax, so there is a kind of economic action------
'value equal to object' between libraries and readers.
