To approach Mechanism of action of total flavones from fructus of Choerospondias Axillaris (TFC)on antiarrhythmias,We determined cAMP and adenylate cyclase of isolated rat myocardium by competitive protein-binding assay.The results suggest that TFC 50,100,200ug/ml inhibited significantly adenylate cyclase of the rat ventricular myocardium and TFC 100mg/L reduced the level of cAMP in both ischemic and nonischemic myocardium.
