摘要
肿瘤是体细胞自律性、无目的过度增殖。S100蛋白家族是钙结合蛋白中最大的亚族之一,拥有20余个成员,包括S100A1-A5、S100B、S100P等。因可在中性饱和硫酸铵溶液中100%溶解而得名。S100蛋白通过改变Ca2+浓度而影响蛋白磷酸化,从而作用于某些离子通道及神经电生理过程。尽管众多研究已经报道了一些成员的物理性质、功能及表达,但对其他成员知之甚少。研究发现S100蛋白参与一些生物过程,如细胞周期调控、细胞生长、分化和胞外活动。许多报道认为S100蛋白在大量肿瘤中高表达,与肿瘤细胞的增值、浸润及疾病的发展密切相关。本文对近年国内外S100蛋白与肿瘤发生、发展的关系研究进行综述。
The tumor is the results of the somatic cell grows autonomously,randomly and excessively.The S100 protein family is one of the largest subfamilies of the calcium-binding proteins,It includes more than 20 members,consisting of S100A1-A15,S100B and S100P and so forth.These proteins are named S100 family because they can be completely dissolved in a 100%-saturated solution with ammonium sulphate at neutral PH.S100 proteins are fine tuned to read the intracellular free Ca2+ concentration and affect protein phosphorylation,which makes them candidates to modulate certain ion channels and neuronal electrical behavior.Although numerous studies have reported the physical properties,functions and expression of some of these proteins,for others little is known.It is well documented that S100 proteins are involved in several biological processes,such as cell cycle regulation,cell growth,cell differentiation and extracellular activities.Many studies reported that over expression of different S100 proteins were identified in many tumors.S100 proteins are implicated in regulating tumor cell proliferation and metastasis,and are indirectly related to the progress of the disease.This article reviews the current studies which explored the correlation between the S100 proteins and the occurrence and development of tumors at home and abroad in recent years.
