摘要
许渊冲教授提出的“中国学派的翻译理论”无论从其理论来源——中国传统哲学思想，还是其认识论基础，尤其是对“美”和“创造性”的认识，都体现出一种“中国性”特质。在其长期而卓越的古籍外译实践基础上，许教授提出的文学翻译理论对于“中国文化走出去”、“建设社会主义文化强国”具有重大的学术与文化意义。
Professor Xu Yuanzhong put forwards a notion of ＂ Chinese school of translation theories＂. This notion, whether considered from its theoretical origin or its epistemological basis, shows a feature of ＂Chineseness＂, especially in Xu＇s ideas of ＂beauty＂ and ＂creativeness＂ in translation. Furthermore, he not only has made great contributions to trans- lating ancient Chinese Classics into foreign languages, but also has put forwards his own literary translation theory which is of great significance in implementing the strategies of ＂Chinese culture going to the world＂ and ＂constructing a socialist cultural power＂.
