The book Doctrines of the Great Educators written by Robert R. Rusk and James Scotland who were British writers of history education made a research work on the doctrines of 11 great educators including Plato, Dewy and so on as well as 8 educators in the 20th century. The book has some distinctive characters, the argument is clear and original, the date is accurate and rich. The classic book of western education ideology is worth to read.
