摘要
广府民系和潮汕民系的文化基础特征与自然环境特征分别对广府木雕艺术和潮汕木雕艺术产生深刻的影响。广府木雕与潮汕木雕尽管同属岭南文化,有不少共同的区域文化特征,但民系文化的形成不同、自然地理环境的不同以及在区域文化中主导性不同,使广府木雕艺术与潮汕木雕艺术与潮汕木雕艺术有着各具特色的地域文化特征。
The differences on the characteristics of the local culture and geographical environment in Canto and Chaoshan Regions have profound impact on the woodcarving arts between Canton and Chaoshan Region. As belonging to the Lingnan culture, both woodcarving arts have many similarities in the re- gional cultural identity, while the differences lie in the formation of local culture, natural geographical environment and dominant function in regional culture. Therefore, there have respectively distinctive features of geographical culture in Canton woodcarving arts and Chaoshan woodcarving arts.
