基于图像亮度差加权估算的视频码率控制算法

Video Rate Control Algorithm Based on Weighted Estimates of Image Brightness Difference

摘要 在对G012码率控制算法进行分析和研究的基础上,针对平均绝对误差(mean absolute difference,MAD)预测以及基本单元层(basic unit,BU)码率控制的不足提出了改进。在MAD预测中结合图像的亮度梯度值来估算,在BU层码率控制中提出基于峰值信噪比(peak signal to noise ratio,PSNR)来分配编码比特的方法。实验结果表明,与H.264标准参考软件JM中的算法相比,改进后的算法在PSNR上得到了提高。 Based on the research and analysis of G012 rate control algorithm,improvements were proposed on the disadvantage of MAD(mean absolute difference) prediction and BU(basic unit) layer rate control.Brightness gradient value was used to estimate the results in MAD prediction.PSNR(peak signal to noise ratio) based coding bit distribution method was proposed in BU layer rate control.The experimental results show that compared with the algorithm of H.264 standard reference software JM,the improved algorithm achieves improvement in PSNR.
