摘要 研究了用STATCOM来提高恒速异步机风电场的低电压穿越能力。对目前风电场低电压穿越能力较低的原因以及STATCOM应用于风电场的作用机理分别进行了分析。在Matlab/Simulink中建立了含风电场和STATCOM的电力系统仿真模型,通过仿真实验验证了STATCOM在提高风电场低电压穿越能力方面所发挥的重要作用。仿真结果表明:STATCOM可以帮助风电场在电网故障后快速重建电压,抑制发电机转子加速,并且缩短了风电场的故障极限切除时间,确保了风电场连续并网运行以及电网的安全稳定。 The paper proposes a method to enhance the low voltage ride through (LVRT) capability of fixed speed induction generator based wind farm using static synchronous compensator (STATCOM). Reasons of poor LVRT capability of wind farm at present and the mechanism of STATCOM applied to wind farm are analyzed respectively. The model of power system containing wind farm and STATCOM is built in Matlab/Simulink. STATCOM plays an important role in improving LVRT capability of wind farm, which is proved by simulation experiment. According to the simulation results, it can be deduced that STATCOM supports wind farm to rebuilt voltage rapidly after faults cleared, restrains rotor acceleration and shortens the fault limit clearing time of wind farm, which ensures the continuous operation of wind farm hanging on net and the security and stability of power grid.
