摘要
根据地理信息系统（GIS）的主要功能与结构特点，从环境工程的角度出发，分析并研究了GIS数据库以及空间分析技术在环境工程中的应用情况，特别是GIS在环境监测、环境影响评价、环境规划等领域的应用与发展前景。
