摘要
考虑由３个独立工作的成败型元件组成的串联系统，利用隐蔽的系统寿命试验数据求元件可靠性的极大似然估计和区间估计，给出了数值例子。
Estimating component reliability frequently requires using data from the system level. Because of cost and time constraints, however, the exact cause of system failure may be unknown, instead, it may only be ascertained that the cause of system failure is due to a component in a subset of components. Such data is termed masked data. This paper develops methods for estimating the component reliability using masked system pass/fail data. The numerical example is given.
