摘要
颜元以习行之学为理论基础与实现途径,形成"实文、实行、实体、实用"的实学教育思想体系,开经世济民之新,担负振衰起弊的历史重任。颜元以培养"通儒"与"专才"相结合的"实才实德之士"为教育目的;主教漳南书院,将"三事"、"六府"、"三物"的"事物之学"注入了时代精神,渗透了西学要素;以"主动"、"习行"为主要教学方法,批判虚妄不实之偏和空疏无用之风,将经世致用思潮推向了新的高度,体现划时代的历史价值,在当代社会仍具有积极的借鉴意义。
Employing learning for practice as his theoretical basis and the way to practise his theory,Yan Yuan established his real learning system combining "real culture,real performance,real experience and real use",through which a new way to govern the country to help people and to reinvigorate the nation's economic recovery was devised.He aimed to produce both "erudite scholars" and "specialists" with real ability and real morality.In running Zhangnan Academy,he included research of Western style in his teaching by introducing "learning of things" with "three affairs","three institutions" and "three objects" into the sprit of the times.He adopted "taking the initiative" and "practicing what has been taught" as his teaching method and criticized empty learning,thereby upgrading the idea of learning for running the country and making practical application.His thoughts on real learning are of epoch-making value and significance to the modern society.
