摘要
本文主要从步行街（区）的形成和发展入手，分析了步行街（区）的社会效益、经济效益、环境效益、交通方面等的规划设计优点，重点提出了步行街（区）、在良好的交通体系、良好的空间环境意象、丰富的空间形式、独特的景观构成等方面的规划设计原则，使步行街（区）能够真正成为“步行者的天堂”。
