摘要
The living space is a complicated organic whole whose construction space is composed of the living, the service and the traffic sections according to certain utility requirements. Such construction space has special features too.In recent years, with the commercialization of housing, commercialized housing districts are more and more concerned with the overall environmental features, residential quality and external space design. And this requires us designers to break through the old concepts of valuing housing forms in neglect of environmental quality, valuing environmental visual theories in neglect of living environment psychology and space behavior studies.It further requests us to do residential space environment design by making use of modern urban design theories and methods. Citing his practical experience in the past years, the writer stresses the following points in the design of external environment in the inhabited space:1. Rejuvenation of inhabiting concepts2. Design of residence and external environmental space as a whole3. Creation of sphere4. Techniques and style in courtyard design5. Residence and
