摘要
本文从反问句的内涵和外延、反问句的句法结构、反问句的语用价值三个方面对汉英反问句作了对比分析,并进行了汉英反问句使用的个案对比。由于已有的关于汉语反问句概念、语用价值的看法存在缺陷,文章用了不少篇幅对这两个问题进行了讨论。文章最后得出了六点认识,除了在语用价值上汉英反问句相同外,其余五点都体现了汉英反问句的差异。
The paper compares the Chinese and English rhetoric questions from the respects of their connotation and denotation,their syntactic structure and pragmatic value.Then a case study of Chinese and English rhetoric questions is made in the paper.Since the views on the definition and pragmatic value of Chinese rhetoric questions are imperfect,the paper then discusses these two issues in depth.Finally,six conclusions are made,five of which reveal the differences between Chinese and English rhetoric questions,except the one showing the similarity of pragmatic value between them.
